Camaro si cu volan pe dreapta:
"Chevrolet has confirmed that the new Camaro will be converted to right-hand drive for the European market.

Wayne Brannon, Chief Executive of Chevrolet Europe, said, “We can have a maximum of 1000 right-hand-drive coupés, and 1000 right-hand drive cabriolets, so the UK should get a good number of models.”

Exact numbers of the 400bhp, 6.0-litre Camaro due to be officially imported to the UK are undecided, but senior sources suggest that it will be about 300 units of each variant.

British enthusiasts will get their first opportunity to see the new Camaro cabriolet at this year’s London motor show, where the American company will have a big presence. It is also likely that the Excel event will reveal whether the Camaro is to get the Chevrolet badge or remain a standalone brand, in the same way as Corvette.

The company had planned not to brand the Camaro with the Chevrolet name in order to preserve the firm’s budget philosophy. But with new plans being implemented to expand the range, sources have said that that the new model is likely to get the Chevrolet name and be sold through Chevrolet dealerships.

Expect UK sales of the Camaro coupe to begin in early 2010, with the convertible to follow later. Prices are still unconfirmed but they will exceed those of the &pound;35,695 Vauxhall VXR8" sursa : Autocar

Si atunci ce ne facem cu afirmatia asta:
- Apropo de design, inginerii de creatie Renault (si implicit Dacia) stiu foarte bine formele modelelor marcii pana in (atentie!) 2012. Toate sunt pe plansa, finalizate si aprobate.

Logan „de lux“ pe piața din India

"Alianța Mahindra-Renault va lansa, în luna iulie, o variantă de lux a Loganului, în serie limitată, pentru clienții din India cu venituri mari, potrivit publicației indiene „IndiaTimes“. Modelul va avea un sistem audio mai performant, scaune noi, tapițerie lucrată manual și design interior îmbunătățit.

„Ediția specială se va adresa clienților top-end (cu venituri mari - n.r.) și va redefini marca pe piață“, a declarat directorul Mahindra-Renault, Rajesh Jejurikar. Marca Logan a fost lansată pe piața indiană în luna mai a anului trecut de un consorțiu format din producătorul local de automobile Mahindra&Mahindra și compania franceză Renault. Daca viitorul Hummer este inca incert, este aproape cert ca viitorul proprietar al marcii nu va fi ales dintre rivalii americani sau japonezi ai GM.

O sa cumpere Tata degeaba, ca e o problema structurala pe piata americana.
Vanzarile de SUV-uri au cazut la propriu cu 40% anul acesta, din cauza pretului carburantilor.
Producatorii americani au probleme reale, productia lor in state bazandu-se pe modele suv sau derivate (pick-ups), care acum au cazut in desuetudine.
Honda a ajuns in state sa vanda mai multe masini decat chrysler, si honda nu prea vinde suv-uri si pick-up-uri...

Dodge Challenger in versiunea SE cu un V6 de 3.5 litri si 250 hp (339 Nm) si o cutie automata in 4 trepte porneste de la $21,995

Explicati-mi si mie cum naiba au ajuns la pretul asta.Ok poate e un gunoi ca masina, dar si prost sa fi si tot o puneai la un pret foarte ridicat pentru ca se gaseau destui s-o ia.

In America, masinile americane sunt ieftine. Dodge Charger si Chrysler 300C pornesc de la 22.000 USD. Mustang porneste de la 19.000.

Asa e diferenta USA vs EU. La ei benzina e mai ieftina, mancarea e mai ieftina electronicele sunt mai ieftine, masinile (autohtone) sunt mai ieftine, etc etc. Pentru ca sunt natia cea mai dezvoltata dpdv economic, pentru ca nu au taxe asa mari la toate (desi la unele chestii au si ei fiscalitate mare), pentru ca au redus costurile calumea la productie, pentru ca stiu sa nu bage un adaos comercial nesimtit pentru ca ii mananca concurenta... etc etc. De asta m-am enervat eu la preturile Sandero - mana de lucru mai ieftina, materiale mai ieftine, masina mai mica, etc, dar profit MARE.

"Nu e prost ala care cere, e prost ala care da" dupa cum spunea si ilustrul Mitica Dragomir (Corleone) despre jucatorii de fotbal...
