Strange thing happened the day before yesterday.
The pigeon, probably disappointed in love, life or infected with bird flu virus, determined to end life
has bravely thrown himself in front of the running car…So, I happened to be the driver,
the accident was inevitable, stroke quite loud at 70km/h…
Brave pigeon succeeded in intention, remaining as a splodge on the road.
Fortunately, there were no damage on the car, plastics and paint evinced high quality.
My luck it was not swan… wink.gif

Now that the winter is here and teh temperatures are low I here skqueeeking noises when I'm changing from first to second gear, like some rubber parts inside the cabin are producing them.

As soon as the I turn on the heating and the temperature rises the noises stop. I guess that they are cused by friction between some rubber or plastic parts.

Does any body have a similar expirience?

just beneath the the gear box "joystick", in the middle of the car; from what I see in the picture there is a white plastic box;
you take away the cover and put a lot of grease inside.

Thanks. This is type of issue that should be reported to Dacia. Almost every owner of Logan I know experienced skwiking sound from gearbox this winter, which means that this is not isolated case with couple of cars.

I've also received one from the local dealer and also other letters from Dacia. One had a form to complete and send back (on their expense) and they've sent me back a letter with a gift (a very good map of Romania).
