I don't know about your customs there in the Western Europe, but we usually do not use tong when kissing man to man.
And one more question concerning your tacho: do you always bring your pocket currency converter while shopping in Germany?

I thought that maybe, as you feel confortable with miles instead of km, you might also need a conversion of the prices in EURos to GBPs - just my thoughts of a habit.
Yeah, yeah, now I understand that what you really are going to need is the other kind of converter - speed limits in miles/h to km/h.
Don't be angry with me, just kiddin'.

But then, the other question arises: WHICH mile do you want to convert to? Because there are a lot of different miles, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mile , so if it is going to be quite official METRIC mile (1.5km), you can easily calculate it by heart.
