I've just applied for Logan in Serbia, and I'd like to know what does the most expensive version in Romania contains of equipement...

Because I've heard that not all models with same name here, in Serbia and there contain the same ammount of equipment; )

Thanks!

Hi,

You can see the equipment packs in Romania and Croatia in a previous thread http://www.daciaclub.ro/index.php?showtopic=8233

What are the prices in Serbia right now, and are the equipment packs different than in Croatia?

the one i'm buying (i'm not sure about the pack name) is 9400E and it has i think everything you've said about options. That price is with the tax included, and the tax is i think 18% here... all the prices and option packsare available at www.integra-motors.co.yu , but it's unfortunatelu only in serbian.

i will get my car in about a month, and then i'll share my impressions with you;))

how many colors are there available in Romania or other countries?
in Serbia there are 9, I think that is too little wink.gif but i hope logan will turn out good car, i wanted to buy them the moment I first saw them smile.gif

can anybody tell me is Logan confortable in long-distance driving?

thanks

In Croatia there is allso 9 colors
http://www.dacia.hr/hr/DaciaSITe/logan/color/index.html

, in Romania apparently there is 10 colors available
http://www.dacia.ro/paleta_culori_logan.html

I don't understand why there is a difference, but I was satisfied with the offered colors.

Should be heated. If you activate the electric heating of the rear window (I don't know the exact english term to describe it but hopefully you get the point), then the rear view mirrors should also be heated.

Just wanted to correct myself.

In all the previous posts I have said that there is no customs in Croatia for Romanian cars, and that one has to pay only the VAT that is 22%.

I was wrong. Croatia has a special tax for cars (and some other things like alcohol and cigarets). The calculation of that special tax (tročarina in Croatian) for cars depends depends on the price of the car (price without the VAT).

The Romaninan Logan Laureate 1.6 with metallic color is 7800 EUR. In Croatia the same car is 10 555 EUR. The difference is 2755 EUR.

But when you deduct the Romanian VAT (I think tha Romanian VAT is 18%) and add the Croatian "special tax" and Croatian VAT the difference in that calculated price and the selling price is cca 1350 EUR.

One would have to deduct the transport cost and the profit of the dealer to get the real price difference.

Anyway the price difference is under a 1000 EUR, so it's not so big as it looks. And I don't think that such a price difference would justify a trip to Romania to buy the car.

Boris

I would like to visit Romania, but I think it's better to do it without any serious business to do. The trip can then be only pleasure, no work.

A man I know visited Romania on a motorcycle last year and he liked it a lot. Right now my trips are limited with my financial abilities sad.gif

As for the Logan, I have already ordered it. It is supposed to arrive this week. It's a 1.6 Laureate. I must admit that I'm getting impatient smile.gif

I liked that color best, but my wife didn't sad.gif . She likes the metalic grey one best.

We made a compromise, we ordered a red one.

I`ve just seen cameleon green one and must admit didn`t like it live.
Thanks God things went that way.

The price diference is caused by:
1. deiferent tax level
2. transport costs from Romania to sales point from abroad
3. saler's benefit/profit
4. investments, post-sale services and infrastructure
... all this are reflected in the additional price!

In that case
2. transport costs from Romania to sales point from abroad
3. saler's benefit/profit
4. investments, post-sale services and infrastructure
would account in 1350 EUR per car (for the mentioned model), what is cca 12,8% of the total (10555 EUR).

I would say that the possible price in a particular country has allso something to do with the price difference and the fact that in some countries you have to pay extra for equipment that is allready included in the car in other countries.

I think that you should add number point no. 5 "Marketing department decision"

That's quite expected, and most of the manufacturers do that.

100% agreed with you!... this is the 5-th reason!

the policy of each company is to sel products at prices designed in accordance with the average income of the potential clients...

P.S. in RO the VAT tax is 19%, not 18% !!! and the car's price includes also some other taxes that cold be different in your conuntry ...

Hello again! I still haven't got my logan, and I'm very impatient about it. Why do i have to wait so long...??

I have some more questions:

1) Can i change my 15" wheels for a greater ones, let's say 17"? can they fit?

2) How expensive are the spare parts for Logan?

3) What do you get with logan, i mean, do you get some tools, red triangle, etc?

You don't get the red triangle with any car by default, atleast not in Croatia. Exception are those cars that have the red triangle embeded in the boot door. Sometimes the dealer gives you the red triangle and the first aid kit. Ask for that. My dealer has put in my radio and speakers for free.

Sorry!

This was a misunderstanding, the radio and the speakers where only installed for free. I paid for them, but I did not pay for the installation. I did not buy them in the same "shop".

In Serbia LGN Laureate comes with radio-cassette player & 4 loudspeakers,
made by Renault.
What a greatness of sound…

Additional equipment

1. spare wheel in full dimension
2. tool (key?) for screwing off & on wheels
3. tool (streak?) for taking off plastic cover on wheel(don`t know right words blink.gif )
4. jack (didn`t try it yet)
5. metal screw for dragging (well…that`s enough screwing excl.gif )
6. ash tray (no more smoker blush.gif )

NOT additional equipment:
1. triangle
2. medical kit
3. rope for dragging
4. spare light bulbs
5. fire-stop aparat (spray)-not necessary in my country by traffic law

These five I bought especially.
Salutare. cool.gif

Here I am after some time... I have used all of my internet hours... so I've bought them again ...

You've answered mu question in advance... that about spare wheel... Is it completely same as other 4 wheels?

I have one more question. I have called my dealer and they said that my car are finished, they just need to be shipped here. How long will it take? my dealer didn't know to tell me.

Thank you all for answering my questions.. I would also like to hear your impressions about Logan!

Greetings for you all!

PS I have one more question: what is EBD?

can you explain it a bit more detailed?

of course that 5th wheel is not alloy, but ity is same in dimensions, isn't it?

mromantan, those articles are great, i've just read them and found out a lot of new things i didn't know before. It's just that something's bothering me... Does Logan really have EBD? It looks like an expensive system, I can't believe that logan has it... if it has EBD, then i'm pleasently surprised wink.gif well done smile.gif

The EBD functionality should be provided by the Bosch ABS system and software, so, in theory, the Logan has EBD.
On the other hand, i'm confused by the lack of advertising for this EBD capability, which i suppose would be a strong marketing plus unsure.gif

"mccoy, i didn't understand you about those keys..."

If you want to get into car and start engine etc. you usually need key, unless

you possess some additional skills... ph34r.gif

Policy of Hypo leasing is to hold spare key in possession till the

end of contract of lease.

Of course spare key is coded, too but doesn`t have remote central locking control.

'Amazing but no extra charge ' - accordind to my sense of humour this should be a joke.

Dear me,disaster... ohmy.gif
