Oricum va zic eu, moturu e vax albina, tabla oricum e fer, transmisia la halumină, computerele la ghenă, insa nici un V8 nu e complet daca nu are antena automata funcțională!

Ladies & Gents : V8 automatic antenna (repair&restore):

Unitatea era blocata complet, tija rupta. Cautand pe audi tradition am realizat ca va trebui sa fac o magie. Analizand modele diferite de antenă automata de la audi am decis sa incerc! Am achizitionat o antena automata de audi80 cu corpul mai scurt (care s a dovedit defecta desi vanzatorul zicea altceva) si am folosit corpul si automatizarea de la cea de V8 precum si o bucata de tija de la V8, a fost o munca de kinez dement dar in final a iesit misto, acum V8 ul are toti caii!

Uneori cand restaurezi sau repari o masina veche nu ai alta solutie decat sa apelezi la cunostintele si priceperea din dotare pentru ca piese nu se gasesc, trebuie sa improvizezi, sa vezi in ansamblu si sa risti, trebuie sa poti să tii automobilul in palmă, asta este adevarata arta a repararii automobilelor.

Ps: @meganusbicorpulus : te uiti la motorul boxer a lui Mutley, nu la V8, dumnezeu stie de ce e asa, o kinezarie smile.gif))

Da si bmw urile vechi aveau asa barele, barele au legatura cu legislatia din state, de exemplu la audi doar audi 5000 si V8 au avut asa, modele destinate cu precadere pietei americane. O perioada bmw a facut toate masinile asa, pana prin 90 si ceva, eu am avut 520 si erau la fel.

Ideea e ca unele masini cu destinatia sua aveau alte bare decat modelele europene similare, alfa 75, volvo, audi.

Un alt aspect demn de a fi subliniat este compatibilitatea masinii cu sistemele de diagnoza moderne (vcds) , pot fi diagnosticate abs, motor, transmisie, clima.
Unele masini de varsta ei au autodiagnoza cu bec/led, timpii de interventie fiind mai mari, diagnoza mai putin precisa.

...si cu aceasta reparatie (motorase stergatoare far care erau intepenite, indoite, sarite de la punct si agresate de diversi oamini rai) oficial toate sistemele electrice si electronice ale masinii functioneaza asa cum au iesit de pe poarta fabricii, fiecare buton, fiecare ceas, fiecare bec isi face treaba ca odinioara...zero erori pe motor, abs,clima si transmisie.

Puțină evacuare si inele noi de etansare, tot traseul este facut dintr-o țeavă groasa cu elemente din crom, ceva foarte solid care pur si simplu tine o viată.
In mod normal nu as fi umblat la evacuare dar un inel de etansare lipsea, am decis sa le inlocuiesc pe toate.

Da, momentan am patit ceva nasol la montaj si astept o piesa, va tin la curent.

Am sters eu 50 de postari care n-ajutau pe nimeni cu nimic.

Pentru simplul motiv ca sunt cativa oameni carora le place sa citeasca p-aci, n-am sters tot.
Daaar, de azi topicul asta are mica pocnitoare legata de el. Daca mai se ajunge vreodata la Reno/GM/Oltcit/TATA/KIA/whatever sucks pentru ca nu e V8, topicul asta zboara. @comanr, daca simti ca vreo postare te face sa tremuri din incheieturi, tremura catre butonul de delete sau report, ca daca tremuri spre ala de reply si sari calul, o s-ti ofer ocazia sa reincepi topicul de la 0. Asta asa, sa stim cum stam.

grija mare cu ce vor sabla...granulatia nisipului. inteleg ca sunt doar lacuite...ca alfel dupa sablat sare si vopseaua.

Cu siguranta lucrurile vor putea fi facute mai bine de cat le voi fi facut eu, insa, proiectul va avea frumusetea sa prin insasi imperfectiunile sale, majoritatea lucrarilor fiind abordate in regim diy, scopul acestui proiect nu este bibeloul final, calatoria este mai importanta decat destinatia uneori wink.gif

Dupa ce am vazut niste nevazute pe aici pe forum, recomand curatare chimica in locul sablarii mecanice si vopsire la pistol in locul powder coat.
Capacele centrale le ai? Nu de alta, dar la BMW e horror, sunt tot mai rare la sehas, iar noi costa o gramada.

Am 3 din ele in stare buna, sper sa iasa okey dar eu sincer nu am dat niciodata atentie la jante, adica nu exagerata, cum am vazut diversi inși care se duceau la revopsit jante pentru ca aveau o foarte mica zgarietura, voi apela la o firma decenta, ar trebui sa nu iasa "portocala" .

Cutiile la 4.2 is indestructibile, au doua radiatoare, ceva de nedescris, masina musca din asfalt cand pleaca, singura mea teama ar fi diversele etansari dar cutia asa cum e acum parca e noua, probabil e si supradimensionata pentru ca e de doua ori mai mare si mai grea decat motorul.
