I liked that color best, but my wife didn't sad.gif . She likes the metalic grey one best.

We made a compromise, we ordered a red one.

.
I heard about LGN right after Paris world premiere in Jun,my brother(who is now in hospital, wish him brisk recovery) informed me, he found some data on Net.Later,I collected a lot of pictures and articles `bout LGN and impatiently was waiting to see it alive. That happened in October on Auto-show in Novi Sad where serbian promotion took place.Although I`m married that was a love at the first sight in despite of many nice cars there.I decided immediately to buy one with almost the highest level of equipment(no ABS,CD,all. rims et electric rear windiws),doubting beetwen cameleon green & toreador red .Decision was cameleon;200 euros for metallic colour,100 euros discount, the price was 7450 euros + 20% taxes.Made arrangement with Hypo leasing and a few weeks later,at the time when LGN would have come my dealer called me and said that he was sorry but there ware problems with cameleon colour in factory in Rumania and the car would not arrive till February. He offered me one “egey” blue which was free,I came to Belgrade to see the car but I couldn`t imagine myself driving a car of that colour, neither the children liked it.So I necessitated toreador red one which was delivered after a mounth at higher procedure(meanwhile discovered this forum).I didn`t notice any cameleon green LGN among many, many cars at dealer`s parking place but there were a few Solencas.
I have my toreador red Dacia Logan Laureate 1.6 MPI for two weeks and couldn`t find words to describe my happiness and pleasure.
That`s the tale.
About noise,tyres… other time.
Well,some of us celebrate Christmas...
Salutare.

Attention!!!

When you receive your vehicle do check the pressure in tyres.
Mine were hyperinflated too, from 2,5 to 3,0 bars.
I drove over a hundred km from Novi Sad to my hometown
by night first day.
And the dealer said that the car was OK.
Of course,the wheels were balanced.
Salutare...

P.S. Nice word salutare,from Roman-Latin saluto,are.
Ave Caesar Imperator, morituri te salutant !

A lot has been said `bout Montana tyres, mostly bad.I agree that material is not so

good ( more plastic than rubber ),they are a bit noisy etc… blink.gif

But (there is always one but),as long as snow coveres the nature they show that some

words has been excessive.I by myself didn`t have neither troubles, nor difficulties while

driving on snow, rather fast and safe. excl.gif

Afterwards, I`ll be thinking of some nice `summer` tyres.

Suggestions are welcome. cool.gif

It's been snowing like crazy in the past days here and I'm quite happy with the tires. Not so bad as said.

So far I have only one complaint about the Logan, and that is the rubber on the wipers. If the glass is not really wet the wipers vibrate and go brrrrrmmmmm.....

I think I should change the wipers, that's a cca 10€. I'll yust change the rubber parts.

Besides that I love the car smile.gif

Boris don't buy new wipers just try to adjust the ones you have already, so that the rubber blade touches the windscreen at 90 degrees and even ease a litle the preasure on the wiper arm (just twist the arm around itself and a little up); it's a "ry and twist again" method.
It worked for me

It is common appearance amongst international police circles. excl.gif

Officers in Serbia usually have strong accent originately from Montenegro,Bosnia

&Herzegovina or passive regions of Croatia.

Perchance an epidemic? ohmy.gif

I speak Roman (Latin) as if I have lived there…

Would it be a problem? cool.gif

Well,my friends,it is time to face the truth.

I`ve just found out from my especial resource (so especial,I can`t tell more),

that there is serious technical defect on all units made till February,14th,

don`t know exactly, something about blowing up left front handhold.

Dacia has hardly admited the failure and kindly invites LGN owners to

immediately visit nearest offical service.Do not drive over 30 km/h excl.gif

I`m in a hurry wacko.gif
