I'm the proud owner of a Dacia Duster 1.6 4WD, i bought the car new one year ago and now the car has 21.000Km. The car was runing perfectly and gave me no problems until last week when, one day, trying to start the car in the morning while trying to go to work took longer than what is usual. Now my car never starts at the first time, i have to try once, twice, three times...sometimes more. The engine starts but he can't maintain the Revs. The car simply stops runing, and when i able to get it running i cannot just put first gear and drive, i have to wait for it to heat the engine up so that i can drive it otherwise the car simply floods down and the smell of unburnt gasoline is just to much. I have to wait for it to heat the engine up and then it allows me to drive. If i don't do this procedure it just stops with what it seems to be a flooded engine. I've changed the oil and air filters, i've even changed the spark plugs, i've placed and aditiv on the gas tank to clean the fuel system but nothing helps. The strangest thing is that when the car is at the right temperature it runs normal.
Can anyone help me? Did it happened to someone else? I'm really desperate because of this and because the fuel consumption has increased due to this problem.

try to replace the coil and the "wires" that conects the spark plugs to the coil...it seems like a an ignition problem...

It really was a coil and sparkplug problem...but it was created by a damaged alternator. The alternator started creating more tension and it even melted the ceramic of one of the spark plugs. Changed alternator, coils and spark plugs and it's working perfectly.

The repair was made in warranty I assume...

Anyway, glad you managed to get this fixed.

si cine-i opreste sa faca "retur" la marfa ?!... in orice tara UE acest lucru este posibil, mai ales la un astfel de comportament al motorului

“Noi am sesizat ca exista o problema care nu a fost cuprinsa in testele de anduranta pe care le-am facut. (…) Calibrarea care exista acum pe masina este, cum ii spunem noi, <<fara riscuri la client>>. Deci puteti sa folositi masina fara niciun fel de probleme si vom schimba aceasta calibrare dupa ce suntem convinsi ca acea noua calibrare nu va afecta masina”, a declarat unul dintre inginerii de la Renault Technologie Roumanie cu ocazia celei de-a saptea intalniri a dusteristilor.

“La un motor diesel sunt circa 26.000 de parametri de functionare. Noi lucram intens sa ne asiguram ca modificarile nu vor influenta si alti parametri. Se poate intampla sa facem stabilizarea ralanti-ului pe 800 rpm, dar sa intervina zgomotul injectiei. Tacanitul acela pe care il auziti dumneavoastra. Si apoi sa spuneti… <<A! E motorul galagios>>”, a explicat un inginer RTR.


pe langa faptul ca sunt total pe langa subiect pupincuristii de la Duster 4x4 Everyone RTR (care toata ziua stau si bibilesc la douadustere ijn garaj insa ei sunt angajati ca ingineri cu acte in regula), au auzit ei ceva insa nu prea stiu sa explice ce si cum, e chiar amuzant "interviul" laugh.gif
bine, unu dintre ei are probleme serioase cu gramatica lb. romane in mailurile pe care le trimite in intern... si e roman 100% mandru.gif
