I found the below mentioned data at the following address:
http://dacia-logan.eastrolog.ro/dacia-loga...ferance-k7j.php
Dacia Logan: versiuni, preturi, dotari
Dacia Logan Preferance 1.4 K7J - sedan
Pret Dacia Logan Preferance 1.4 K7J
5.700 Euro (toate taxele incluse)
Two questions: 1. Being a foreigner, can I buy a Logan in Romania?
2. Is there a possibility to reclaim the tax at the border or to be tax exempt since the car is exported? Is there an export tax to be paid?
The lowest price of Logan in Belgrade is 7200 EUR (including VAT). Considering that we are near Romania, I consider the possibility to buy it directly in Romania.
Thanks in advance,
Sasa

I think you should visit the official site www.dacia.ro, there you should find all the reliable info and you must e-mail at : vocea.clientului@daciagroup.com - their official e-mail, for advanced details. Good Luck!

First of all, I think that you can buy a logan in Romania, as well as you can buy a pair of shoes or an electronic appliance.
I really don't know if you are able to register a car in Romania being a foreign citizen.

As regards the second question, you are able to reclaim VAT tax if you prove that the product you bought is not to be used/consumed /registered in Romania. Unfortunately I don't know the precise procedures used to reclaim that money.

But beware of the warranty of the car, since I don't know is Dacia has international warranty and you may not have warranty in Yugoslavia if you bought the car from Romania.

First of all, I would appreciate some help from anyone reading this message. Does anyone know the addresses (e-mails) of Dacia car dealers in Timisoara? I need information regarding the amount of export tax, i.e. does anyone know how much a car that costs 5700 EUR with tax included would cost with the export tax? Does anyone know the procedure regarding the temporary (export) registration plates until the border? Thanks in advance to all of you.

Sorry amicovic, but first of all you must consult your laws regarding the import of vehicles, and to see what custom taxes you should pay THERE. because here is very easy to buy it. (Anyway... not very, but easy). The VAT refund should work for cars as same as for a tv.

Another issue: the Logan sold in Romania has only Euro3 pollution standard, so before you buy one make sure that you can register it in your own country (since many countries including EU request euro4 for new vehicles).
