I am having a problem with the clock zeroing itself maybe every 2 days or so, don't know why, but now the rest of the LED lights flash on and off too. Had air conditioning fitted by a local air conditioning specialist and problems seem to have arisen since this was done. Have replaced the battery with a new one, so it shouldn't be that. ( or so I think) Any ideas..... or anyone else with the same problem ??? Electrics being checked tomorrow.... they seem to think it might be a fault behind the panel. I've had my Dacia Logan for 4 years and up to now have never had any problems. Any help out there mad.gif

I think it is a problem with the ground connectivity of the dashboard.
Maybe you need to put a supplementary ground wire from battery to dashboard.

Thank you for this help Klaus, I'm taking the answer to the garage tomorrow with me when I go to collect my car. They have had it all day, ran a computer diagnostic and cannot find the problem.

In romanian part of the forum there is large topic about that problem ( http://www.daciaclub.ro/index.php?showtopi...94&hl=reseteaza ).
Actually the problem is made by some current peaks as mariuscond said ( http://www.daciaclub.ro/index.php?showtopi...dpost&p=1632891 ) when the engine is starting.
The solution given by mariuscond resolve the problem, but a better ground connection of the dashboard resolve the problem in almost all the cases.

I have spoken now to a couple of auto electric guys who are telling me it is a "faulty panel" problem and that there is no need for a secondary "earth" or "ground". I have been told there is no problem in driving about with the car, that it won't interfere with the actual running of the car, so I can only hope for the best now. One other thing, does anyone know of a "panel" recall for the Dacia Logan? excl.gif

Yes, there is one, but not for your vehicle I should think. I do not think you have ABS.
