hello guys I'm from Egypt & I'm interesting with the logan mcv but there is two version of it are different in the engine power one is 90 HP full option & the other is 110 HP half option i would like to ask if the 90 HP one is sutible for this car of it small special when it carry the 7 passenger and the condition is running on i thnik the 110 hp engine will be better & more strong for this car I'm waiting your opinion

but i think that the diesel engines are different from the gasolin ones because the moment of the diesel one is more stroger than the gasoline engine although the power is lower than the gasoline
I think it is some relations between the speed & moment which affect the engine's performance

I've made mistake. Maximum is 77kW (105hp) from 1.6 16V.
Suppose you will use it for taxi or somthing. 6 persons + AC is huge load. so recomand this type of motor. Also, 1.6 16V motors are made from Renault, others are under big ?

I'm owner of MCV with 1.6 8V engine - 64 kW (88 HP). My experience is, that this engine is rather weak for this type of car. We use is especially for family trips with five persons on board and full luggage space and the acceleration is very poor and there is no reserve for overtaking. If the price difference between these two options - 1.6 8V and 1.6 16V is not to high for you, I strongly recommend to buy the 16V version. It is newer construction and despite higher power it also should have considerably lower fuel consumption.
