Hi, everyone.

I had a frontal crash with my Logan, unfortunately, and airbags deployed.

Car now doesn't want to start until airbags (crash data) are reset.

I don't want to put new airbags, since they are expensive, just to reset existing one.

What is the way to do it?
Is it possible via OBD to reset?

Thank you.

You need to delete crash info in injection ecu so it can start- (clip can do that, so can DDT). That will not make airbag ecu serviceable again. Some people can do that and put out awl, but I woudln't drive a car that didn't replace it's airbag ecu after a crash

Sorry, can you explain a little bit more?
I am not familiar with those devices and software.

What is DDT?
What exactly should I do, is that done via OBD?

If I understood correctly, via OBD airbag ecu can't be fixed.
But I read online that it's possible by repogramming it's chip.

The second sentence you quoted says just that. But saying it's "fixed" is bulshit.

If I install same airbag from another vehicle (second hand), will that work?
What needs to be done?

I was checking today faults with Torque via OBD, and it showed nothing.
The airbag light is ON.
