Nu am vazut momentul producerii accidentului dar Loganul a intrat in laterala unui Opel. Poate nu direct frontal ci putin mai mult cu partea dinspre sofer.

Rear SENSORS are also known as safing sensors as their function is to determine that a crash has occurred. Rear safing sensors are located in various locations in the passenger compartment depending on the manufacturer. Some are intergrated with the Control/Diagnostic Module.

The rear safing sensor must close before the forward sensors to avoid airbag deployment in cases where the impact is not severe enough to cause deployment. When the vehicle is parked with the ignition off deployment is very unlikely because there is no power to the circuits for deployment.

This means that someone can hit your car and sound the alarm but not deploy the airbags.

Adica, daca masina a stat pe loc, cu motorul oprit si a fost lovita, airbagurile s-au comportat ok.

LE: pana am postat eu, au postat altii. Daca Loganul se afla in miscare, atunci e clar: problema airbag. Totusi, din cate am vazut pe howstuffworks, nu se declanseaza airbagurile la o viteza mai mica de 20 km/h.

Masina nu statea pe loc. Plecase de la semafor si a intrat intr-altul ce intrase in intersectie in ultimul moment. Nu am de unde sa stiu viteza pe care o dezvoltase pana la impact dar din explicatiile date pare logic sa nu se fi declansat airbagul avand in vedere ca nu a aparut nici o deformare in interiorul habitaclului.
Presupun ca explicatiile sunt suficiente si nu e totusi defect de functionare.

Interesant ar fi sa stim ce-a patit soferul. Daca avea centura si a dat cu capul sau toracele de volan incat sa aiba rani grave, trebuia sa sara, daca nu, nu.

Nu incercati sa ghiciti privind masina daca trebuia sau nu sa puste. Algoritmul de decizie e f. complex si analizeaza semnalul de acceleratie de la mai multi sensori. Ceea ce se vede pe masina e prea putin sa poti trage o concluzie.
Singurul criteriu pe care il poti evalua din afara e starea soferului. Cum a spus si b64chr, daca soferul nu a muscat volanul, inseamna ca nu trebuia sa puste airbag-ul.

LE: admirind mai bine poza si observand ca loganul alb de care vorbisem eu aici (si care, culmea, se ciocnise tot cu laterala unui opel) nu e cel despre care vorbeste Mano (cel de care spun eu inca mai poate fi contemplat in fata petromului din capat pacurari), am editat in consecinta.

1. La logan NU EXISTA legatura centura - airbag.
2. Daca tot zice lumea de impact frontal la respectivul logan, poate imi ziceti si mie cum de s-a facut bara fata armonica, precum si masca dintre faruri. Cam cum au fost aplicate fortele in cazul dat...

Probabil Loganul era intr-o pozitie usor oblica si nu perpendiculara cu laterala Opelului (mai apropiat cu partea dinspre sofer). Primul contact a avut loc deci cu partea din fata stanga (partea soferului) si Opelul fiind in miscare a determinat deformarea spre dreapta.
Oricum e clar de ce nu s-a declansat airbagul avand in vedere ca exista si senzori in habitaclu iar acesta era intact. De altfel nici soferul n-a patit nimic altfel ar fi fost intr-adevar o problema.
