i wrote this to my friend at forum,and i must share it with all of you... you cannot belive what happend with my LPG system (BRC) bottle holder, rear on right side, is damaged because BRC made strict procedure for bottle holding (60 liters STAKO model) and that procedure is not good for logan. bottle is now on steal holders wich are screwd into the floor of logan (some 10 mm big screws) and rounded with strong rubber. unfortunatly, high weight of bottle and gas inside (around 60 kg in full load), and vibrations and inertion of bottle in driving conditions made problem with holder because floor of my logan started to break in 5-6 cm long line at same edge of screw and holder of bottle. when i look back at bootom side of car, there is everything OK. but , that is cause of problems, and yesterday i went on a LPG pump to fill up logan with gas. after starting LPG insertion pistol , immidiatly gas started to leak because filling branch was moved from security valve on a bottle. that means that whole LPG in liquid state did not go to the bottle, and through security output fall down on a road... oh, whatt a shit... boys from LPG service told me that it is bad construction problem of logan together with big weight of the bottle and that they had similar problems too... idiotic for 1200 euros LPG system isn`t it?

very expensive instalation for gpl you buy.

when i get into service, guy showed me whole bunch of cracked holders.
bottle weight and setup on the fly are major cause. better is to put a bottle on the floor and secure it from moving

im out of ideas.

i went today at LPG service

they removed holder, put a bottle directly on a floor, drilled new holes for new screws and put stronger rubber over the bottle.

they put a kit for corrosion over the older holes, and i must put on the internal part of hole a little bit anticorosive stuff...

now you cannot move bottle , before that , even when instalation was new, you could move it for 2-3 mm forward and backward

now it is ok

changing the holders cost 20 euros

If they fitted it it should have been done properly if it wasnt done properly then you need to see a lawyer regarding compensation
This firm should not be allowed to fit LOOSE gas cannisters It is a danger to all road users

they usualy works without holders on the fly, but BRC gave strict instructions to use holder...
