Hi I’m from Skopje- Macedonia and I’m very interested for Logan Laureate 1.4 but I don’t understand anything on Romanian language . For us, is easy to compare Logan with other Dacia models, especially Solenza. The car is somewhere between Solenza and Clio Symbol. Overall is a progress.

Pluses:
It is spacious
Large trunk
ABS
Airbag
Onboard Computer

Minuses
Interior design is rather cheap
1.6l engine performance
Inside the car, the engine is too noisy
Poor access to trunk

Anyway these are general subjective opinions and you can test them at your dealer, asking him for a drive test. Right now we don’t have knowledge about serious problems excepting some painting exfoliation problem with one car.

Tx Alex, I made drive test on both models 1.4 and 1.6 and I feel that 1.6 is more noisy than 1.4, but generally I like Logan. Look more solid made than Solenca and for 7990 eur in Macedonia (Laureate 1.4) taxes included, I'm very interested.

What did you mean about performance of 1.6? I drive both engines and don’t feel anything wrong in 1.6. Maybe I didn’t feel big difference between 1.4 and 1.6 but the test drive was short about 1KM. Only what is mention in previous topic - little noisier in Logan 1.6

I don't need more power, it's not car for fast driving, and I feel fine with performances of 1.4. It's the same engine from Solenca or? I mean, what to expect from 1.4 if it’s the same, you now better.

The engine is the same as the one from Solenza, the fact is that the computer is changed so there are some differences in performance!
