Hi everybody!
I was wondering for time ago if somebody could tell us their impressions, differences, stability, confort, noise, engine, etc about Renault 19 vs Logan, and finally I,ve decided to ask for it. All coments are welcome!
Thank you very much. smile.gif

I experienced few hundreds of kms with a Renault 19 three years ago. It's not sufficient for impressions, but it seemed to me that is more "sporty" than Logan. It was a 3 doors version, 1.6 engine (think so...) I had my first and the only fine in that car (speeding with 120km/h at night on the riverside in Bucharest). It was a intensively used car (120.000km at that time) but still good. I found Logan quite lazy. Renault 19 seemed to have more stability, more confort but noisier.

@han, he said in Bucharest, so, don't try this at home!
We know that Logan can reach that speed, especially with the wind from behind, but don't try in the city biggrin.gif

Renault 19 it's a good car but Logan is a let's say new car...you try and see!

PS: If you want a sport car, there are a lot of them smile.gif

Hi all,
I have been driving a Renault 19 1.9 64CV diesel for 10 years and about 300.000 km.
Last January I got my new Dacia Logan base 1.4 75CV.
The biggest diference between both cars is that Logan is new and that means better performances in all possible situations.
The brakes in Logan are ABS and in my R19 were normal, so I can quite notice a great diference.
The balance is really good in Logan mainly when I am driving curves because in R19 I felt like driving a big boat.
Logan is lighter than R19, so Logan spends less benzine.
Stability is great in Logan and in R19 was quite ok too, but like the other friends said, a new car is a new car, so most of the things are better in a new car.
See you all!

Thanks! I think so that laureate version must be much better than my 19, because the power steering, air conditioning, electric pack, front fog lights, low noise and all you have said about your logan base.
Greetings

I have not driven a R19 so i can not compare it with Logan. Logan is a fine car, but the noise is not low.

I'm sure that a logan 1.4 is more noiseless than my Renault 19, although a logan is noisy in comparison other new cars. radmasa.gif
A previous model kangoo 1.5dci is more noiseless than my 19...

Do you want to say that logan is as noisy as my 19? I was convinced that Logan isn't, but now...

I also try to keep it clean because still I get lots of looks of curiosity from people in the streets...
I still haven't seen too many Dacia cars in our roads... only another besides mine.
And after Carrefour gave 700 for free in some comercial promotion, I thought I would be able to see them all over.
Well, see you soon!

If I remember well, the R19's computer is exactly the same with Logan's... or at least the way it looks (not sure though).
