Today I finally installed s LPG system in my Logan. It's early to say anything about the system because I only made 20 km so far, but I don't expect any problems.

It's a Landi Renzo Omegas system, and the price was cca 1150 EUR. I think I'll pay it off in a year or so.

The price difference between LPG and petrol is 0,45 EUR vs 1,15 EUR per liter (0,7 EUR per liter).

So after 1650 liters of fuel (or more if we are going to be realistic) I'm going to pay it of biggrin.gif, that's about 20000 km of city driving.

Good one Boris
and another bonus is that you do not to worry about the fuel Quality !!
My mate in Sheffield uses gas and he had 300000Miles on his last rover
he now has a MG 6 cylinder and he put the gas in himself ...YES he is a very clever guy and nothing is to hard for him

Congratulations. coolspeak.gif
Talking about fuel (LPG) quality, the only way they can steal from you is inadequate mixture of butane and propane (more propane in mixture - less energy per liter but easier to start in winter - no concern of yours, because your engine starts on gasoline automatically), which would increase LPG consumption (in my case - up to 20%). This is why you will soon find out which LPG stations are preferable (generally OMV's are fine).
@Stu - what are you waiting for (I mean with LPG conversion)? nedumerire.gif

OK, so here are the first experiences:

So far the consumption is cca 15% higher, and the driving characteristics are the same.

Here are some photos:

The filling valve is near the petrol tank filling point.

The spare tire is in the trunk:

I will never understand why is this thing positioned here so I can not refill the cooling liquid without removing the connector mad.gif

Not that I refill the cooling liquid often and removing the connector is not a problem, but it could have been positioned a bit to the right so I do not need to remove that connector.
