Silly Question !!
But it has something to do with wear and tear on your engine Or do you think that F1 cars run at full throttle all the time you develope athing at to high speeds called Valve bounce it means the Valve opening cannot keep up with the engine Revs Dont believe me though just get ready for a PIT STOP stu |

My friend, engine is "killed" by city traffic. "Stop and go" is the worst way to use an engine.
Maybe the valve bounce occured in old times, when carbs were popular. Nowadays, electronic management prevents many things, including valve bouncing. F1 engines are a different storry! The materials used are different than those used on street cars. An F1 engine runs a maximum of 1000 kms., then is declared "scrap" |

But, it isn't very good to drive always "in red"!!!! in red - high revs This post has been edited by mcv_rulez: 15 Nov 2006, 20:52 |
