Dupa o serie de concepte Ford a lansat in sfarsit imagini cu noul sau hatch de clasa compacta. Masina si-a pastrat numele Fiesta si arata destul de aproape de conceptul Verve prezentat anul trecut la Frankfurt.

Asa arata versiunea de productie pentru Europa, Asia si Africa de Sud ce va fi produsa in Germania la Cologne incepand cu sfarsitul acestui an. Noul Fiesta este unul din primele produse Ford ce vor fi propuse la nivel global, urmand sa apara si pe pietele din China si America de Nord.

Noul hatch va fi prezentat la Geneva, si va fi disponibil in Europa in varianta cu 5 usi spre toamna. Unul din scopulrile inginerilor a fost sa reduca nivelul de zomot din cabina si sa ofere un confort cat mai bun pentru a oferi performante de pe modelele de clasa superioara. O alta prioritate a fost reducerea greutatii totale dar in acelasi timp imbunatatirea elementelor de siguranta. In acest scop au fost folosite tehnicile ce au facut din Mazda2 o masina mai usoara decat generatia precedenta, inclusiv folosirea a doua tipuri de otel pentru sasiu.

Fiesta va fi disponibila cu un motor de 60 de cai de 1.4litri ca varianta de baza, apoi o unitate de 1.6 si 115 cai, ambele pe benzina.Modele diesel vor fi doua, ambele de 1.25litri si vor dezvolta 60 si 80 de cai.Motoarele vor putea fi cuplate la o cutie manuala de 6 trepte sau la una Durashift automatica.

Arata bine, dar eu nu înțeleg de ce se copiază acel gemuleț lângă montantul A, și oglinda mutată spre mijlocul portierei, că mi se pare oribil, mai ales din interior...

Observ lipsa cheii de pornire, amplasarea scrumierii foarte buna (sub pintenul bordului), spoilerul fata jos ca la laguna 3, dimensiunea mica (3,78 m), volanul ciudat, partial piele, partial plastic, o gaura cam naspa in acceptiunea mea in partea inferioara a consolei centrale care se va murdari, niste butoane de AC care s-ar putea dovedi incomode (oricum afisorul de AC e prost amplasat)

Mie imi place pozitionarea deflectorului de sub spoiler ...
Au lasat "cute" in plastic unde trebuia sa fie cheia, au renuntat in sfarsit la schimbatorul de autobuz cu manson de cauciuc, au pus antena in fata ..., trend-ul de bmw la consola centrala iesita in afara

PS. Bricheta o sa iasa odata cu scrumiera ...

Daca spatiu pe bord in dreptul butucului au lasat (sa ai mai multe repere, insemna scump, este ok), la cochilie puteau totusi sa faca una fara ...

astea micile o sa cam rupa gura targului(a se vedea anul lor:fiat 500, lancia ypsilon, opel corsa, reno twingo samd)insa da, se cunoaste un pic de impotenta in design sau ma rog, trend corporatist: elemente comune cu alte modele cu succes la public!eu zic ca e timpul ca scortosii de la design sa inceapa sa vada un pic outside the box.

Using a mixture of high strength and lightweight steels, the Ford Fiesta shares its platform with the acclaimed Mazda 2 – noted for its fine handling and swift reflexes.
The chassis retains the MacPherson Strut type suspension of the previous generation Fiesta as well as the twist beam rear axle. However the set up has been the subject of a significant amount of development to improve both the car’s ride and its refinement. All new, however, is the electric power steering. Introduced to the Fiesta for the first time.

Under the bonnet, 1.25 and 1.4-litre duratec petrol engines are joined by a new 1.6-litre Ti-VCT engine, while diesel fans will be offered 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre TDCi units. Later in 2008 a new ECOnetic version, capable of producing less than 100g/km of CO2 will be announced.
