Trist, foarte trist. Nu il admiram pentru felul in care se purta cu oamenii (indirect, permitadu-i lui Duane sa ii trateze ca pe niste sclavi cateodata), cat pentru ce a realizat si pentru talentul sau de a face masini originale si foarte apreciate (nu sunt un fan Hot-Rod, insa am invatat sa apreciez aceste automobile datorita show-ului "American Hot-Rod"). Un mare creator, vizionar, care si-a urmat visul, transformandu-l intr-o afacere de succes, dar mai ales intr-o arta. Oameni ca Chip Foose nu cred ca ar fi existat fara inspiratia oferita de creatiile "Boyd Coddington".
Odihneasca-se in pace !

In vacanta de vara am vazut fiecare emisiune, iar in timpul scolii stateam si ma uitam la orice ora era emisiunea...chiar imi pare rau...

Foarte interesant mi s-a parut acest pasaj: "Mr. Coddington was also a mentor to several other hot-rod notables. For most of the 1990s, his chief engineer was Chip Foose, who is now host of his own cable show, “Overhaulin’,” on TLC."

Deci Roy a murit in oct 2005, de cancer la plamani, la scurt timp dupa moartea sotiei sale. Pacat, de multe ori il vedeam cu tigarea in mana la emisiune...
