Hi, have Logan MCV galvanized/zinc-coated body (sheet) or cataphoretic paint only ?

Hey,


I don't think there is galvanized steel used. It's part of the price.

But I 'am not completely sure

If there is someone which is familiar or expert what type of isolation materials are used in Logan for isolation in beneath the vehicle body,some kind of plastic,rubber or something like that?

Some pepole were called for inspection of bodypaint and premature corosion occurance here in Serbia, on Logan.

Anybody knows anything about this?

Since which year Logan had pour anticorrosive protection?

Yes 2007 Dacia Logans need to have the antirust paint checked in the rear wheel arches just like in Germany
YOU TELL THEM THAT GERMANY ARE GETTING CHECKED TOO

I have Logan 1.6 16v produced in November 2006.
Do I have the same problem with antirust protection or not?

Is there any official link from Dacia or Renault that explain this problem and affected months/years of of production?

I read in Serbian newspaper that only car produced until end of 2006 is affected with this problem ("bug"), but Stu says that 2007 production year is problematic!!!

What is the truth now?
Can somebody tell us correct problematic year and moths?
