Outline · [ Standard ] · Linear+ Dacia 1300 / Renault 12 parts !

It is really very nice, i own a 1975 DACIA 1300, in original shape and i want to take it to a pain shop this summer, but i have a problem, the silver stripe along the front and rear window is a little burned becouse of the sun, so, do u think i could find something like that in France A friend had the same problem with his R12, I will ask how did he do to change his stripe. There is the same kind of problem with the " gutters " on the left & the right of the roof : they are often burned by the sun, or broken... But unfindable in France

MISTAKE : I thought ' aripa fata ' was meaning ' rear fenders ', but in fact ' aripa fata ' means front fenders !

So please correct that I wanted to write ' aripa spate '...

Hey Gabriel are the rims(wheels) on the silver R12 Break still available in France and how much do they cost (in euros)? And what size are these rims (I'm guessing that they could be 13x5.5)?

I will ask the friend who owns this R12 break, but I am sure at 100% you can't buy new these wheels.
Maybe you can find this kind of wheels on eBay or on meetings, that's for me the only way to find them.

Gabriel-France, you have a low-rider-renault12-break there !!! It looks very good with lower suspensions.

I want to show you some photos of my DACIA 1300 from 75 (equivalent to RENAULT 12 phase 1), which has totalized just 20.000 km..!! By all means, the paint is allso original..

Je suis un prof de francais du departement de Bacau, en Roumanie. Pour l'instant je croyais que tu etais un professeur ferre en francais de la ville d'Onesti, un collegue a nous, il s'appelle Gabriel F-L.

J'ai visite ton pays trois fois, trois partenariats scolaires Socrates pleines de reussite (a Arras, dans l'Yonne, a Herblay non loin de Paris). Moi et ma femme Irene nous voudrions revisiter la France cet ete, donc nous avons besoin d'hebergement.. seulement un lit ou pouvoir dormir, pour eviter les frais pour l'hotel.. la nourriture nous en aurons de Roumanie mise dans notre Dacia 1310 . Si tu veux, tu peux prendre cela comme un echange de visites: tu viens chez nous, nous pouvons egalement te faire visiter le pays de Moldavie dans le Nord de la Roumanie, les beaux monasteres-la ainsi que le midi de la Republique de Moldova (ancien etat de l'URSS) chez les parentes de ma femme.

Je veux aussi trouver pour toi des informations sur la Dacia 1300 la "francaise".

Pozele postate atunci, erau facute imediat dupa ce am cumparat-o, d-aia nu era montat nici numarul pe fata.. Fostul proprietar tinea stergatoarele intr-un fel de toc, confectionat special si probabil ca le monta doar cand avea nevoie de ele.. Acum le-am pus la loc si i-am montat si o pereche de oglinzi frantuzesti

Sorry for my long absence, I did not had time to stay on the internet.

Well, about the grey Renault 12 break type 1, this is unfortunately not my Renault 12. This car was fully restored by a member of my forum, and I puted the photos here because I thought this R12 could be for you a good example of french restoration.

I will soon try to post " my " Renault 12 pictures...

Well, about parts in France : currently, it is very difficult to find such parts. Most of the body parts are very expensive, and Renault France has stopped to produce most of the R12 parts since now about 10 years ( just a example : a rear fender costs 250e !!! ).

That's why french people are trying to get parts from Romania ( I suppose I am not alone ), but it seems that you can't get anything you want in Romania.

I will try to find some photos of my 12...
