Propun sa revenim la denumirea traditionala pentru acestia:

MARDEIAS

"Garda de corp" - "gardeaza" "corpuri". In Romania se chema la fel si cei care "gardeaza" magazine, personaje din lumea interlopa etc.

Nu ma indoiesc ca exista garzi de corp autentice - dar tare mi-e teama ca asa ceva n-o sa prea gasesti la intrarea in "butic"...

Mardeiasul nu-i un ciomagar pur si simplu, ci este (era) un bataus specializat, care actiona in doua feluri sub comanda (de multe ori a unor personaje din lumea interlopa, dar si a - de exemplu - oamenilor politici). Cele doua tipuri de activitate erau:
1. activ - "bate-l, ma, pe X"
2. defensiv (garda de corp).

Vezi dar ca "body-guards" ar trebui impatrite in doua-trei categorii: garda de corp; paznic; si - tocmai - mardeias.
