Vrea fiica-mea sa isi schimbe telefonul, are de ale intre S6 si Iphone 6.Samsung nu am avut niciodata dar vad ca multi blameaza touchwiz-ul ala, asa ca i-am spus sa isi ia Iphone-ul.Am facut bine oare?
Statea in dubii deoarece pe hartie da mai bine Samsung si este putin mai ieftin.

Hai sa mai spun ceva anti-Samsung atunci.

In "corporate systems", in zilele noastre, se utilizeaza o platforma comuna de securitate, numita AirWatch. Asta e un sistem de criptare a datelor si de comunicare printr-un fel de VPN dedicat. Platforma are clienti disponibili pe toate OS-urile portabile si pe toate telefoanele, indiferent de marca si model.
Ca sistem de autentificare se foloseste parola sau unul din standardele de securiatte din zilele noastre: trusted devices (bluetooth) sau senzor de amprenta.

Se stie ca toate Samsungurile recente au senzor de amprenta. A functionat totul super frumos cu amprenta lui peste pana prin decembrie. In decembrie am primit un update la platforma asta airwatch si brusc, senzorul de amprenta nu mai merge.
Zic .. deh .. kkt .. oricum eu ma autentificam cu smartwatch-ul ... nu prea imi pasa dar era fain sa mearga.

Azi vine un coleg de munca cu S6-le lui nou sa ma intrebe de ce nu ii merge senzorul de amprenta ca doar ce si-a instalat sistemul airwatch ... am ridicat din umeri apoi am inceput sa sap pe net .... ghici ce am gasit?

Din toate telefoanele cu senzor de amprenta din lumea asta, doar cele Samsung sunt banate de la a utiliza amprenta pentru autentificare in sistemul Airwatch si asta pentru simplul motiv ca cititorul de amprenta folosit de Samsung (Synaptics) a fost hackuit si este considerat nesigur. Samsung este singura companie care foloseste pe telefoane cititor de amprenta Synaptics.

Si de asta, da, dar nu numai din cauza asta. Nu exista telefoane bune la fel cum nu exista telefoane proaste "per se" ... e vorba de un cumul de factori care le face mai putin bune sau mai putin proaste ... si insumand acesti factori, in clasamanetul meu cel putin, Samsung nu sta chiar asa de bine.
