Din punctul meu de vedere, asta e cel mai bun album de la Pink Floyd, mi-a placut mai mult decat The Wall, m-a impresionat... Chiar daca e mai mult Roger Waters decat Pink Floyd.

Aseară (n.a. 25.11.2009) am fost la concert … in cadrul Bucharest Masters of Jazz, la sala palatului – sic aceeași – ne încânta Jan Garbarek Group … zic hai sa merg ca nu l-am mai văzut pe Garbarek de la Sibiu – cu mulți ani in urma – dau 100 RON pe cel mai ieftin bilet, si cu inima un pic îndoita, având in vedere ultimele discuții referitoare la preturi, calitatea audiției si altele, intru in sala … nu am timp sa mă documentez cu cine vine Garbarek astfel încât sunt foarte atent la prezentarea trupei … Rainer Brüninghaus la pian – pe el îl știm, cânta cu Garbarek de peste 20 de ani astfel încât se înțeleg si se completează perfect – basistul brazilian Yuri Daniel – pe el nu, il auzim si ne place e precis, melodic, cam prea multe pedale da mă rog se poarta – si Trilok Gurtu – auliu pe el chiar îl știm el este poate cel mai mare maestru percuționist din lume – venit chiar din India versetelor lui Salman Rushdie …
Cu toate ca la început am avut ceva dubii concertul de aseară – totalizând aproape 2.5 ore cu bis cu tot – a fost impresionant … același Garbarek si temele sale ritmate, aparent simple, repetitive la nesfârșit … duelurile pian - percuție, flaut - percuție sau sax pian au făcut evident deliciul serii … ca sa nu mai vorbim de soloul – neomițând evoluția spectaculoasa de pe tot parcursul serii – maestrului Indian Trilok Gurtu … finețea ritmurilor, petrecerea temelor, instrumentele, unele improvizate au dus publicul departe de Bucuresti … pe malul Gangelui …
De departe eroul serii eclipsând – mai ales spre sfârșit – chiar si evoluția de excepție a lui Garbarek, m-a dus cu gândul la un alt mare percuționist al lumii Airto Moreira … personal nu am văzut alți 2 oameni care sa cânte cum spunem noi si la „fluierul piciorului” … astfel mi-am reamintit ca finețea ritmurilor adevărate trebuie căutate întotdeauna in America de Sud sau India …
Per total muzica lui Garbarek este aproape aceeași evoluția fiind numai una de finețe, de împletire a ritmurilor – un pic inca prea discar, ar zice unii – colaborarea cu Trilok Gurtu salvând concertul si ducând muzica sa cu adevărat pe tărâmul nesfârșit al Jazului.
Seara frumoasa … încă pe malul Gangelui – de fapt lângă Capsa – sunt readus la realitate de un nene “Sefu’ hai sa iți dau o fata … am 2 proaspete … moldovence curate” am mulțumit frumos si am trecut mai departe … Gangele este un râu foarte lung iar eu îl parcurg încet către izvoare … unde nu este mizerie si apa este încă curata …
