The top portion is more reminiscent of a sports car, with a high waistline, slim visor-like side glass graphics and a coupé-style falling roofline. The coupé effect is further underlined by the rear doors which have their handles hidden in the frame of the door.

Nissan Juke InteriorInside, the sports car theme continues with a driver-focused cabin dominated by a centre console design inspired by a motorcycle fuel tank. Finished in a distinctive high gloss colour, the ‘bike’ console adds a sense of fun to the car.

Practicality is assured by the rear-opening hatch and versatile luggage area with hidden storage opportunities.

The Nissan Juke is based on the Renault Nissan Alliance B platform, with a 2530mm wheelbase.

On front-wheel drive versions, suspension is by MacPherson struts at the front with a torsion beam at the rear while four-wheel drive models have a multi-link rear suspension modelled on the system found on Qashqai.

In Europe, three offer of engines available at launch will include one 1.5 liter diesel (81 KW) and two 1.6 liter direct injection gasoline units (140kW turbocharged and 86 KW), all Euro 5 compliant.

Nissan Juke Interior Design SketchThe range of transmissions include five and six speed manual gearboxes and CVT transmission, depending on the model.

The ALL-MODE 4x4-i electronic all-wheel drive system is available as an option and features torque vectoring technology to enhance agility and reduce understeer when cornering.

A partir del mes de junio algunos concesionarios europeos comenzarán a recibir los primeros pedidos del Juke, un crossover pequeño que estará disponible en octubre. De momento hemos conocido las tarifas para Alemania y Reino Unido, y no será precisamente económico.

En Alemania las tarifas recomendadas comenzarán en los 16.990 € del 1.6i 16v 117 CV con acabado Visia. Para el Acenta habrá que desembolsar 18.390 € mientras que el más equipado Tekna costará 19.890 €. Salvo la variante básica, en el resto parece quedar demasiado cerca del Qashqai, lo que podría restar cierto atractivo al nuevo modelo.

Ca e urata sau frumoasa e foarte discutabil, oricum e interesanta ca design.
Cred ca ar arata bine pe o culoare inchisa

2) La ce ajuta forma aia ciudata a camelor?
3) Ce e special la arcurile de supape? Sunt progresive?
4) De ce nu l-au facut de 1599 cmc? Si in strainatate platesti mai mult pe un motor peste 1600cmc.

It's really difficult to pin down whether the Nissan Juke will sell well when it arrives here in the States this fall. The micro-crossover doesn't have a lot of competition and its affordable anticipated starting price of well under $20,000; both good signs. The big unknown is whether Americans will embrace the Juke's cartoonish looks, which could turn away potential suitors.

Unique looks and diminutive stature doesn't appear to be affecting the little Juke in Japan, though, as Nissan says it already has orders for 10,943 little utes. We already knew Nissan was on track to best its estimate of 1,300 orders in the first month due to the fact that the Japanese automaker had already rung up 5,296 orders in the first week the Juke went on sale.

Among the nearly 11,000 orders cataloged so far, the top color is Radiant Red, with 29 percent of all orders to date. The red interior is a big hit as well, with 59 percent of total orders. And if you're thinking that a bunch of young kids are picking up these affordable little mini-crossovers, think again. So far, the largest demographic for the Juke is the 50 and older club, with 44 percent of all sales.
