@Lostboy: daca bios-ul iti recunoaste hdd-ul (asta dupa ce-l desfaci si-l conectezi direct la un desktop) dar totusi nu poti vedea datele (ai zgomote dubioase inauntru), atunci incearca cu un Hyren's boot CD. E o colectie de utilitare de recuperare date. Luna trecuta am reusit sa recuperez aproape integral un hdd trosnit rau (caraia de-l gaseau dracii, se dadea cu capetele de pereti).

ms ...aveam un cd cu windows bart PE , dar sper să nu am nevoie de niciunul din cele menționate.

Momentan instalez xp-ul pe wind și după ce termin cu ăsta mă apuc de Cartea Mea. biggrin.gif

Am desfăcut carcasa. Situația stă astfel: am scos interfața și am conectat cablul usb și alimentarea. Se aprinde ledul de stare. Atunci când conectez interfața la hdd - se stinge. Ori este de la mufa SATA ori este de la hdd.

LE Momentan nu am un desktop la care să conectez hardul. sad.gif

Se pare că atunci când conectez cablul de date apare problema. Windows-ul detectează ceva dar nu poate să acceseze toate informațiile și raportează că a apărut o problemă la instalarea driverelor (am reinstalat între timp S.O.-ul).

Vezi ca daca e SATA nu este neaparat hotplug. E posibil ca de aia sa se stinga ledul de stare.

Trebuie sa schimbi toata placa. Iei un HDD identic si faci schimbul. Dar eu cred ca mai intai ar trebui sa-l conectezi la un desktop.
Sau, daca laptopul tau nu mai are garantie (si te tine sa-l "scobesti" un pic), iei un CD butabil cu Linux, desfaci HDD-ul din laptop (care HDD banuiesc ca e SATA), bagi in locul lui "suspectul" si speri sa ti-l recunoasca BIOS-ul. Dupa care, butezi frumusel cu LiveCD-ul de Linux mai sus mentionat si te asiguri de existenta si integritatea datelor pe HDD.
Rasufli usurat (hopefully), remontezi HDD-ul in laptop, si in zilele urmatoare cumperi un adaptor SATA/USB si ai rezolvat problema.

La hardul din laptop are acces fără să afecteze o eventuală garanție, hardul culisează ușor afară, e prins în 2 șurubele, dar parcă hardul extern e de 3.5"...

La dell am garanție 3 ani. L-am luat în dec. 2007. Deci nu. La wind nu am cd. Deci nu. O să mă duc mâine la un service de pc-uri din sat și o să le cer lor să conecteze hdd-ul la un desktop. Am ceva prieteni acolo.

Ia driverele de pe net. Dar eu banuiesc ca problema e la adaptorul SATA/USB. Am avut o problema similara cu unul PATA/USB. Discu' bun, adaptorul "bun", ii instala driverele da' nu vedea discul. Tot ce aparea era un "USB Mass Storage Device" si atat. Scoteam discul din adaptorul PATA/USB, nicio reactie. Il bagam la loc, se invarteau platanele, se auzeau capetele cum "pleaca" si atat!
Problema s-a rezolvat prin cumpararea unui adaptor PATA/USB cu 30 RON mai scump decat cel in cauza, care era la a doua schimbare pe garantie.

La al meu nu se învârt deloc platanele. Hdd-ul nu are nicio reacție. sad.gif
Și la wind încă mai am garanție.

De ceea ce îmi era frică nu am scăpat. De vină este placa cu circuite de pe hdd. Singura opțiune este să găsesc un hdd identic și ca dimensiune și ca model cu alt defect decât placa de circuite.
Dacă lucrează cineva la vreun service de pc-uri și poate să mă ajute, îi rămân dator.
