Dacia cheama in service mii de Loganuri produse inainte de sfarsitul lui 2006.

Aceasta operatiune (injectarea suplimentara de ceara protectoare in anumite portiuni ale caroseriei) va permite clientilor sa beneficieze, gratuit, de protectia care trebuia oricum sa existe intr-o masina moderna produsa in secolul XXI.

Asa cum este prevazut in carnetul de intretinere si in garantia anticoroziune de sase ani, Dacia va proceda, de asemenea, cu ocazia viitoarei revizii a vehiculelor, la un control anticoroziune si va efectua interventiile care se vor dovedi necesare.

Cauza este foarte simpla: mai multi clienti s-au plans ca dupa doar 2 ani de folosire pasajele rotilor din spate ale masinilor lor au ruginit.

Aceste puncte de oxidare localizate sunt legate, conform spuselor producatorului, de patrunderea apei prin pasajele rotilor spate ca urmare a unor operatiuni imperfect realizate in cursul procesului de fabricatie (aplicarea de mastic si/sau pozitionarea unui obturator). Actiunile corective au fost deja aplicate in uzina pentru asigurarea celei mai bune calitati de fabricatie, mai ales in momentul aplicarii de mastic, operatiune care necesita dexteritate, dar masinile produse pana la sfarsitul lui 2006 sunt vulnerabile.

Aceste dispozitii vor fi confirmate prin scrisori adresate clientilor vizati in perioada imediat urmatoare.

X5 e singurul care-mi place. X3 si X1 mi se par neomogene, linii abstracte, ca o foaie mototolita, nedemne de BMW. X6 imi place pana la jumate, spatele mi se pare total nereusit.

Ca tot s-a adus in discutie...
Dupa mine arata binisor, este insa un Fiat Bravo in alte haine.
Mai ales la interior, se vede destul de clar - bordul e similar.

Un articol foarte interesant in Quattroruote de luna asta, nr.2/2008 pe tema diferentei dintre consumul declarat de producatori si cel real.

Revista in cauza detine inclusiv un poligon de testare, iar diferentele constatate de ei trec de 30% in medie, intre teoria din cartea tehnica si practica, masuratori efectuate pe 24 de modele de autoturisme diferite, din mai multe clase.

Atasez si o mostra de text in care este descris modul in care producatorii masoara consumul de carburant in prezent..

PS. Nu lucrez la ei, nu am vreo legatura cu ei. Dar articolul e pe sufletul meu, hotii naibii de producatori post-336-1110552439.gif

Famed car customizer Boyd Coddington dead at 63

Famous car customized Boyd Coddington, the star of TLC’s American Hot Rod, passed away earlier today from undisclosed causes at the age of 63.
The world-renowned customizer was hospitalized twice last month for a recurring illness and underwent emergency surgery. In a statement released after his surgery, wife Jo Coddington said "We are happy to report that Boyd is recovering and doing very well, he is expected to go home next week. Boyd and I would like to thank all of the people who have sent their well wishes and support!" It is not yet known whether Coddington's illness is related to his death.

Boyd Coddington is a household name in the custom car world. The SEMA Hall of Famer won the Grand National Roadster Show's coveted "America's Most Beautiful Roadster" award a record seven times and the DaimlerChrysler Design Excellence Award twice. Originally from Idaho, Coddington moved to southern California at a young age to begin working on cars, notably the '32 Ford Roadster, his favorite. He would later open Boyd Coddington's Hot Rods, a 50,000 square-foot workshop in La Habra, California. Today, the 70 employee strong shop produces 12 to 15 custom cars per year at prices ranging from $50,000 to $500,000. A newer venture, Boyd Coddington Wheels, produces over 100,000 custom designed wheels per year and is larger than his hot rod business. His techniques developed in machining wheels from billet aluminum would earn him the nickname "Billet Boyd." His legacy, though, will be his custom cars.
