Alte 11 autobuze electrice, de azi în circulație la Cluj-Napoca!

Miercuri, 3 aprilie 2019, au intrat în circulație în municipiul Cluj-Napoca încă 11 autobuze electrice.

Aceste autobuze au fost achiziționate prin fonduri europene și sunt primele din cele 30 care urmează să ajungă până la sfârșitul lunii iulie. Astfel, 41 autobuze electrice vor fi în total în circulație până la mijlocul acestei veri.

O treime din transportul public al municipiului Cluj-Napoca este deja electric.

Cele 22 autobuze electrice aflate în circulație contribuie semnificativ la îmbunătățirea calității sistemului de transport public din Cluj-Napoca. Prin achiziționarea acestor mijloace de transport public performante și prin programele de prioritizare a transportului în comun - precum benzile dedicate pentru transport în comun și biciclete - urmărim să oferim clujenilor o alternativă modernă, eficientă și calitativă la transportul convențional, cu mașina personală.

Autobuzele care intră de astăzi pe rutele Companiei de Transport Public Cluj-Napoca sunt modern dotate cu echipamente ce au caracteristici de ultima generație:

Informații generale:
- prețul unui autobuz este de 2.374.725 lei/ buc + TVA
- autobuzele corespund tuturor normelor Europene în domeniu
- garanția este de 5 ani sau 500.000 km

Caracteristici tehnice:
- capacitatea totală de transport este de 78 călători din care: 27 locuri pe scaune și 51 locuri în picioare
- autonomie de 105 km pentru baterii noi
- capacitate baterii 200kwh tip Solaris High Energy
- puterea motorului electric este de 160 kW (218 CP )
- lungimea autobuzului este de 12 m
- podea complet coborâtă
- rampă pentru fotoliile rulante ale persoanelor cu dizabilități
- loc special amenajat în salon pentru fotoliile rulante și landourile pentru copii
- înclinarea pe o parte a autobuzului în stații
- 3 uși duble ( cu câte 2 foi fiecare), cu sistem antistrivire a călătorilor
- internet gratuit WI-FI pentru călători
- sistem de încălzire în sezonul rece
- sistem de aer condiționat pentru sezonul cald
- sistem de iluminare interioară a salonului cu lămpi de tip LED
- afișaje de traseu exterioare cu LED-uri
- indicator vizual interior de stații cu LED-uri
- monitor tip LCD în interior
- anunțarea vocală a stațiilor în salon
- sistem de supraveghere video în interior și exterior
- sistem de numărare a călătorilor transportați
- computer de bord pentru gestiune și management al traficului ( CGMT)
- datele din computerul de bord al autovehiculului se descarcă într-un server care gestionează baza de date și generează rapoarte specifice cu privire la: numărul de km parcurși, consumurile de energie, numărul de pasageri transportați, etc..

În acest moment Compania de Transport Public Cluj-Napoca dispune de 14 stații de încarcare (11 cu încarcare lentă și 3 cu încarcare rapidă), amplasate în bazele acesteia din cartierele: Grigorescu, Mărăști și Gheorgheni.

A 2-year-old boy with mobility issues has been given a new lease on life after a team of compassionate high school students gave him a new set of wheels.

Cillian Jackson was born with a genetic defect that has left him with impaired motor function. Prior to December, the youngster either had to be carried in a stroller or in his parents’ arms.

When Cillian’s parents started looking for ways to give their son more mobility, they found that motorized wheelchairs can cost thousands of dollars, and their insurance would not be able to cover the costs due to Cillian’s age.

Rather than shelling out money for a new wheelchair, however, Cillian’s father Tyler Jackson reached out to the robotics students at his old Minnesota high school.

The Rogue Robotics team at Farmington High School has won multiple awards for their ingenuity; so when they were faced with a project that could make a difference in the life of a 2-year-old boy, they did not hesitate to accept the challenge.

The teenagers used a Power Wheels riding toy provided by Cillian’s parents as the base for the wheelchair. In addition to adding a more accessible customized joystick to control the chair, they replaced nearly all of the electronics and added a child-sized bicycle seat that they found on Amazon. They then used pool noodles as safety bumpers for the edges of the toy and added a 5-point harness to keep Cillian safe inside the chair.

None of these components were very expensive, but when the students finally got to see Cillian happily zipping around their workshop in his new car, they said the satisfaction of their success was priceless.

“I think we won here more than we do in our competitions,” one high school student told KARE11. Another team member said: “Instead of completing a task, we’re helping change someone’s life.”
