Curios e ca mai toate navele numite Coventry au sfarsit nasol.

Six ships of the British Royal Navy have been named HMS Coventry, after the city of Coventry in the West Midlands.

The first Coventry was the Spanish 28-gun ship San Miguel, captured in 1658, but in turn taken by the French in 1666.
The second Coventry was a 48-gun fourth-rate launched in 1695, captured by the French in 1704 but soon recaptured, and broken up in 1709.
The third Coventry was a 28-gun sixth-rate launched in 1757 and captured by the French in 1783.
The fourth Coventry (D43) was a light cruiser launched in 1916 and sunk in an air attack in 1942.
The fifth Coventry (D118) was a destroyer launched in 1974 and lost in the Falklands War.
The sixth Coventry (F98) was a frigate launched in 1986 and sold to Romania in 2003.

Englezii au trimis acolo printre altele si fregata HMS Cumberland, care e tot Type 22, adica la fel ca a noastra.

Am auzit ca Ferdi tre` s-ajunga in 4 iunie pe pozitie(aka cu spatele la libieni). Daca stau marinerii pan-atunci la dospit si frecat(puntea) cand ajung acolo o sa fie numai rafale de cumshot de aia nu e nevoie de tunuri torpile si alte alea.
Helicopteru` l-o luat Base ca sa le arate Romanica la arabi. icon_mrgreen.gif

Radeti voi radeti, dar dupa cate vad eu, Regele Ferdinand nu prea are un sistem de aparare anti-aeriana, iar libienii au ceva rachete anti - nava, gen P-15 Termit, Otomat sau C-802 Silkworm...

Cam asa ar arata un sistem Phalanx anti-aerian, tunu' ala montat frontal nu prea ajuta la nimic:

Romania urmeaza sa mai achizitioneze urmatoarele: de la Americani - 1 x portavion, clasa Yorktown - WW2, pret: $ 5Bil (cam cat unul nuclear nou nout), 1 x battleship (clasa Iowa: deoarece vor cumpara nave care nu se mai produc pretul va fi de cel putin 10 Miliarde Dolari, 2 x distrugatoare mai exact (Cassin si Downes - wiki for details) iar de la nemti: 3 x submarine (Type 40 - WW1) pret: 6miliarde Euro (cam cat 3 SeaWolf noi),
Aceste nave (impreuna cu super-modernele fregate) vor face ca flota romana sa fie complet pregatita de al 2-lea razboi mondial... smile.gif)
