Hi evribody. A few days ago I crashed the car. After the car accident I drive car to tinsmith. It say i must find a parts. I try here in serbia but unsuccessfully. In my opinion that car is ruined...

I know , car is 2008y made, basic version (dont have servo, abs, air conditioning) i have 2 choices:

1. try to find a car (in romania of couse, find a man who wil drive a car to serbian border) with good body and damaged engine, suspension ....

2. disasemble all parts and sell it in maket


In first case i have calculation, to offer money maximum 2500euro for body.

I think that is more simple for you to sell your damaged car, and after that you can buy another one.

If you will replace the chassis, you have to replace the new chassis registration number in all car document (waste of money and time)

i have good tinsmith , she wil cut roof chassis from new and put it on damaged car. After that tinsmith wil paint in blu. All this is 600euro

Question is where to find chassis?
that the factory sells the chassis, and at what price?

I don't think that the factory will sell the all body. Simply it's not demand for such thing, the total cost of repairing it's as much as a car in good condition.

I was thinking about how to sell my car (1500-2000) and I add more money to the new, but can not find a new under 5000 Euro.

I know the site is only in Romanian, but there are more than enough chances that an e-mail in English will be answered. I choosed this one because I see they have a big store in Timisoara (click on the "acasa" tab to see it), and I think they might be able to provide you with the needed parts.
Maybe it's best if you say which city in Romania is closer to you, and someone from that city could help you with an adress or a site or even a phone number from a store that sells Dacia body parts.

your car is trash,only works with the crusher at the moment ...i'm very sorry to say that and for what happened.....
you may buy spare parts for your car from here at good money but you have to search and search a good chasis car,chances are down to minimum....

ONLY THIS should tell you that is not worth to spend even 2 Euros on this car.

You can come in Romania to Drobeta Turnu Severin and after you add all the spare parts you need (and believe me, there a lot of things you need to buy) you will see that is doesn't come cheap at all.

I don't know why you think that your tinsmith will solve your problems.

You will not find half of the car ready to buy, also it will be hard to find a good MCV body and then do the unthinkable and cut two bodies and make a new Frankenstein.

Also, you need:
- 1-2 Taillight(s)
- at least 5 windows on both Sides
- Interior related plastics for the roof and pilars
- 2 Headlights
- other exterior plastics
- 2 mirros

As a last note. Please stop thinking that replacing the top of the body will solve your problem. Your body is ruined on all areas. If you don't believe me, please look closely to above picture, but not only....

I live in Belgrade, closest city in romania is Severin and Temisvar. Problem is rare car model, and cannot fint chep one. I wil buy car for spare parts, first one is good shassis with roof. I made calculation all parts 4doors, mirrors, glases, hedlight except roof construction cost me 1300e. I find dealer here who import parts from romania. But the problem is there is not roof construction on shes list.

I also think it doesn't worth fixing your car, you should sell it and buy another one.

A friend of mine bought an MCV diesel with ~90k km 6 months ago for 3200 EUR from a company which went backrupt.
I also bought a few months ago a car and with ~6k EUR you could find a ~2 years ~30k km car with full options.

thanx, I accidentally ran into a man who work in temishvar and sell dacia equipment (have roof construction), she will contact me next week and tell me price.


Oterwise, what if i come to romania and buy new car, how many percent is price biger from seller one? I think on border customs costs. Someone told me that Romanian customs pay back percent of money from car value ( PDV or somting like this...)

hi,

only the big companies have MCV with mooore km's and maybe after 3-4 years to sell it cheap but in bad conditions maybe.
For ex I have some business with a company who use some MCV's but in hard conditions: carry for equipments, persons, fast driving etc. They should replace cars after 3 years but I expect minimum 3000 euro because are Laureate (AC, ABS, DCI..)
For this is ok to have full insurance (CASCO in Romania). If you dont have is hard and expensive to repair even Dacia car.
