Outline · [ Standard ] · Linear+ shifting matter, RPM runs up uncontrolled at shiftings

Dacia Logan built in 2011, 1,6 L with 16 valves. Accelerator has electric potentiometer. At shifting gears 1, 2 and 3rd the RPM runs up at least 200-400 rotation. Running on HWY, taking off leg from accelerator, and without using clutch taking out from gear the RPM runs up uncontrolled first, dropps to 1500 after that runs up to 2000, and finally got back to idling. At idling the accelerator return time is OK, but returns slow driving and shifting. At 4 and 5th all is OK. Dacia Service technicians admited too the funny thing, driving this car. As no any kind of failure code, Dacia refused to fix car. On HWY driving, lets say I have to make a brake application, in that moment I want to slow down, but engine wants to stay in traction position - ABSOLUTELY UNSAFE ENGINE!!!!! I have 46yrs. driving experience, but never something same.

They should check the idle sensor and the whole throttle body, even though it doesn't return any error codes. Could also be a faulty electronic accelerator pedal.

If the throttle body does have some dirt in it, it won't run as it should be.
