Hi:
I am interested in seeing pictures of Logan in green camaleon and toreador red colour. I am going to buy one Logan myself and I would like seeing real pictures of Logan in these two colours for making my choice between them. Thanks everybody for helping me. Greetings.

On dacia.ro, go to 'configurator', choose 'ambition', '1.6 MPI', and then your colour.

On the last page it will display an image of your logan.

Go back and retrace your stepr for another colour

It's not much, but I hope it will do.

thanks for your help, but I am interested in pictures of real cars, you know a person who has a logan in green camaleon or toreador red and can send me pictures of the car in real life, not advertising pictures of the company. But thanks again for your help, but I am looking for real pictures of loganīs owner in these two colors for buying in one or other. Dealer hasnīt got any, just grey and aegean blue at stand.

You will find that the pictures does not represent the real color of the car. There are so many variables when you take the picture that the colour will be just an aproximation of the real colour.

Light, reflections, quality of the photo camera, all these influence the colour!

Try to find a car with the colour you are looking for! And hope is not dirty...

The picture has a bad composition, but it will serve the purpose.

You should fill in the "From:" part of your information form, I know that it's not obligatory but I just like to know where members are from smile.gif

As for the "green camaleon", it looks different under different light. In the day light it looks dark green, but it the dusk it looks darker, more like black.

Hola paisano!
I'm from Madrid, and I'm going to asnwer you in my poor english, for to be understood by the other people.
I 'm very interested in Logan and I have recopilated some pictures from internet but there are not "officcial" pictures from Dacia. All are toreador red (rojo almagro), except one green and two blue. Furthermore I have read some test drives (in spanish) and I have an interesting press release in english about developement of Logan.
I attach you the pictures and the pdf documment. I wish you like it.
Bye! Un saludo!

I would like to buy a Logan or a new car because my car is 16 years old and it hasn't air conditioner, and no "extras" but... for the moment I can't.
Logan has interested me since he appeared in papers, motor magazines, and I knew that it would be a economic but modern car, with the reliability of pieces, engines, etc from other Renaults, easy & economic to repair, and isn't all electronic as other modern european & japanese cars, etc.
And, will you buy a logan? Now in Spain the hyundai accent is a good chance too, because accent is cheap as its substitute is coming soon. What do you think about both cars?
Greetings.
(Sorry for my English)

Iīve been reading this forum for about 2 years now, but I have just registered here. It is quite big and comprehensive, but the rest is in romanian.

There are a lot of logan owners here, and I am sure they can provide a lot of accurate information if you intend to buy one. In the spanish forums you can find some information about the logan but the users there do not actually have first hand experience so they can not give to very reliable advices, therefore I think first hand experiences and answers are always better.

Most of the problems/issues have been discused in the other side of the forum, so any questions you might have about the logan should be answered here.

Well I actually have a car now, I do not plan to buy a logan in the future, but my uncle has one.

It is exacly the same language, also known as ĻcastellanoĻ. Only spoken wita a different accent, like you can tell when someone i moldavian, I can tell by the accent when someone is from cuba, mexico, argentina, brasil, ecuador, or different parts of spain.

So, the difference is only the accent and a few expressions which vary from region to region. Basically you guys speak there mexican spanish because there are so many immigrants from mexico, not ĻspanishĻ spanish.

@auriest I actually have not been in Romania since he bought the logan, but I talked onthe phone with him. He has the car since february, I am not aware of any problems. Maybe some members who actually own a logan can contribute with some replies. Auriest, did you go to your renault dealer to try the car?

Auriest did you actually see any logans on the street in Galicia? In barcelona I havanīt seen any, except in the showrooms.

DiMaggio, In Madrid I have seen 4 different Logans, instead I only have seen one new kia rio II.(3 in my district)
I've read that if you buy a Logan you have to wait for a long time (2-3 month, but I don't know if this information is real), because there are lot of request in Europe, for example in France when second hand Logans are being sold more expensive than new Logans, because they have to wait a lot of time. It seems to be that the majority of Romanian production go to Romania, and the rest of Europeans have to wait.
This appeared in Italy: http://www.repubblica.it/2005/j/motori/ottobre05/loganaruba/loganaruba.html
In Francia è bagarinaggio
E in Italia?

If you ask me, go for the Accent! I would have too, but here in romania import taxes for non-EU cars are about 30%, which brings the Hyundai's price too high.

For Dimaggio:
I didnīt try yet beccause dealer has only two cars in showroom because few which arrived are sold in advanced. He told me possible at the end of November, this month, I could try the car because they will receive new cars but it isnīt sure. I have seen 4 or five Logans in my town in Vigo. But part of my job is deliveries from 08.30 a.m. to 02.00 p.m. driving by the town and you know lot of hours every week and just I have seen 5 differents, I know this because white, grey, red, blue and almagro read (toreador red) colours. It wasnīt the same car ha,ha
For Quique 19:
I have asked to the Dealer and told me that from 2 to 3 months for arriving here a car if Iīd buy one. I want one in June because my sister is going to drive it when she arrives on her holidays and Dealer told me better buy one on January or February for not having troubles with car arrive before June ha,ha. As you said few cars arrived here I donīt know reason but it is true the 2 or 3 months waiting for the car.

According to a recent article by a romanian site, Dacia has produced so far 114,000 Logans, and more than hal have been distributed on the romanian market.

Daciaīs objective for this year is to produce 150,000 Logans, and in 2006 300,000. (next year we will also have a 110 gasoline engine, a pick-up, and a falimiar version.

As I know, Logans are also produced in Morocco and Russia. I do not understand this long wait if you want to buy one. You live in Vigo, which is not really a small town, why donīt you try going to bigger towns neary, there must be a Logan available somewhere for you to try.

Logan is also made in Colombia, when Logan is sold as Renault Logan (no Dacia). I know that because I read a Colombian test drive --> http://es.geocities.com/carrocolombiano3/logan/logan.htm

Too bad Logan isn't made in America (or imported), because I think that people might buy it here also, because there are low income people here (like anywhere eles) that can't afford a new car and have to resort to buying a used car to get around town. But on the other hand we have to remember that Renault does not sell any of it's vechicles in America. dry.gif
Off-Topic - I don't see why Renault shouldn't try selling the Logan here(America) because Aro, a Romanian car company, has teamed up with another company here and produce what is called "Cross Lander" and it's supposed to be coming to delearships in January (I contacted the delear that is going to be getting Cross Landers's here in N.C).

yea sure....... radmasa.gif radmasa.gif radmasa.gif

Perez (the guy who bought aro) is just a big crook. jesus, heīs been promising everything for about two years now. do a search on google for crosslander perez and see what peopple say and think about him.

actually I was raised in campulung muscel (where aro is build) and i kinda know how things go around there. And I have a friend who actually works in the states, fl. to be exact for aro (not for perez). so come back to reality. Perez bough aro for 150,000 $ (!!!) and sold it back with a 1000% profit. And the leftovers were sold to a company in south america.

Aro is bankrupt, ruined, OVER.
