Hi all, I just got my Dacia Logan Base 1.4 last mounth and I have driven about 2000 km in all kind of situations (motorway, roads, city...) and I think, on average, it has been consuming about 10l/100km. The car dealer told me that at the beginning the car will consume more gasoline and it will be lowing the consume after being used a bit longer. Does it happened to you? Thanks to all. With the same engine, I can tell you that in the first 3000 km, consumed a little bit more that after, but much less than 10l/100km as you say. Only in very cold days of the winter and in very very high city traffic- the consumption ricjh 10l/km. Of course, this depends a lot on driving style.

OIL - I didn't put a drop more between the 15000 km change.

The value is about right, keeping in mind that the fuel consumption is higher at lower temperatures.
And the dealer is right, the car will consume less fuel per Km when you will pass above 3.500Km.

Stay calm, you won't be needed to add extra-oil. However check from time to time the level (on the same flat surface).

my logan allways take about 7 liters/100km,in winter it uses more,around 7,5-8 because i warm it up especialy in the morning when the engine is totally cool

on a -15 degrees, it starts normaly but good is to leave engine around 5-6 minutes to work just to make few oil circles and warm it up for better work.

I have tested my car and it does not spend so much gasoline anymore.
I have driven 3500 km and I can tell that to drive 780km (city and motorways mixed) I need about 45 litres.
So the consume has been reduced a lot.

If you'll read the manual you'll see that the producer specifies that only after 3000 Km the engine will perform in the specified parameters (HP and mileage).

Last year mine took 9,5-9,7 l/100Km city cicle. This year, after the wedder warmup, in same conditions and same routes it consumes 9,2-9,3 l/100 Km. The difference is that i drove it about 10.000 Km since last year.
