Cu aceasta performanta Koenigsegg CCX a devansat cu 1,6 km/h viteza maxima obtinuta de exoticul McLaren F1. Circuitul italian este oval, iar rotile din fata au fost tot timpul virate, fapt ce, teoretic, a redus viteza maxima pe care ar fi putut sa o atinga Koenigsegg CCX in cazul unei piste drepte.

Old news. Ksgg CCX si-o fura de la Barabus TKR (1005cp) si Lotec Sirius(886cp). Ambele supermasini de productie.

385 km/h ? Pai Veiron a obtinut 406 km/h pe pista VW- din Ehra Lessien. In viteza 7 avea 6200 rpm si temperatura gazelor la evacuare era de 970 de grade. Si acest circuit este tot oval se poate vedea pe google earth.
Testul era organizat de AMS din Germania

Bugatti Veyron a esuat in tentativa de a stabili un nou record mondial la viteza pentru un model de serie. Recordul ii apartine lui Koenigsegg CCR: 388 km/h.

Surprinzator, cea mai puternica masina de serie din lume nu are omologata viteza maxima pe care o poate atinge! Bugatti Veyron nu dispune de cifre oficiale care sa ii ateste viteza maxima efectiva. In aceste conditii, cel mai rapid model de serie al lumii este in continuare “batranul” Koenigsegg CCR, care atinge, oficial, 388 km/h.
Bugatti a incercat insa sa puna lucrurile la punct in weekendul care tocmai s-a incheiat, anuntand cu ceva timp in urma ca o pista in linie dreapta lunga de noua kilometri va servi drept banc de teste, in 28 octombrie, pentru viteza maxima a lui Veyron. Partenerul oficial al tentativei de record a fost Castrol, compania care are la activ, in aceasta pozitie, nu mai putin de 10 recorduri mondiale de viteza.
Ei bine, desi testul oficial a avut loc si desi constructorii lui Veyron se laudau cu o viteza maxima neoficiala de 407 km/h, din randurile constructorului germano-francez nu a transpirat nicio stire legata de vreun rezultat oficial demn de luat in seama. Ceea ce nu poate insemna decat un singur lucru: Veyron a esuat in tentativa oficiala de stabilire a recordului mondial de viteza pentru un model de serie. Cartea Recordurilor a ramas astfel blocata la pagina Koenigsegg CCR, un model care dispune de “doar” 806 CP, putin in comparatie cu cei 1001 CP ai lui Veyron.
Iar pentru ca esecul sa fie si mai rasunator, Castrol a avut grija sa impanzeasca presa germana inaintea acestui sfarsit de saptamana, fiind siguri ca tentativa va fi reusita, cu mesajul “388 km/h is not enough!” (“388 de km/h nu e destul”).

Te-ai uitat pe link-ul dat de mine? Eu am vazut si emisiunea de duminica de pe VOX (Auto Motor und Sport TV). Redactorul lor sef a depasit bariera celor 400 km/h si nu cred ca au falsificat rezultatele. Masina era plina de aparatura de masura pana la refuz.
