Very thoughtfull of you, Stu to post those videos. In what concerns me, they fully express the reasons for which I sold back my Logan sedan to the dealer 1 month ago and I ordered a 7-seater MCV, which I will hopefully receive on February 1st (if the factory respects the delivery terms).
As it is, the MCV can satisfy all the usual transportation needs of an average family (you can carry even small pieces of furniture in it, if you want, and I sould say Romanians at least appreciate this very much!) .

I like also the look of the car comparing it to the range of family cars derived from mini vans, seems nicer to me than Fiat Doblo, for example.
I'm looking forward to have it!

Hey, I have noticed that MCV isn't very different from Concept Steppe, there are some changes, but they are minority...
Only bad thing is that front lights that aren't Xenon. down.gif plange.gif intrebare.gif asteapta nervos.gif WHY???

you can mount HID - xenon lights on the aftermarket if you want. should be around 500-800 euro

That's great, thank you, I have read something about those HID-XENON lights in some magazines... And what those numbers means (Is it power of light, or something like that?), numbers like 10000K, 7500K, 5000K.
And that 10000K version is most expensive...

actually 10000K - 5000K .. etc are the cromathic temperature, it tells you the colur you are seeing, for 10000K it should be blue.

what you need is a H4 instalation kit for HID-Xenon. the number 10000k or 5000k it-s your choice, it is the colour that you see from outside. in theory the colour of the light in some cases can help you see mor as for blue, in oposite with red.. (for example get a red LED and a blue LED both whith the same power, light each of them in a dark room, and decide wich type of light is better do see as much as posible -again.. it is blue.. red is not "lighting" other objects, but are great to be spotted from great distances)

H4 is the TYPE not the power of the light bulb. it mounts replacing the original light bulb, and aditional wiring for all the electronics it needs to run.

MCV is going to sell in all countries of Europe from March 2007...
I've read it in Auto BLIC magazine (Croatian)...
I think that it's correct, because, nobody in Dacia official dealer (for Bosnia) couldn't tell me when is MCV coming to Bosnia, and January is close to the end...
The date of MCV Europe release is a big mistery... ph34r.gif

I don't believe my eyes ! Stu's right, the Logan has hit big time. I've got to know Germans rather well and I just couldn't believe what those blokes have written, especially the one who says that tried the car and ordered it right away. That is something a German (=money concerned person) NEVER does !

Here in Germany there is a rumour that Dacia workers will soon go on strike
for more pay this is quite normal when the car is selling like hot cakes tongue.gif

the base wage at Dacia plant is around 300 euros. which is pretty low but not that low as one might imagine for a base salary here. in Romania there are wages of even less than 100 euros a month but not in Bucharest. in Bucharest a normal minimum wage is about 150 euros (como dependienta en una tienda) or something like that.

my personal opinion, a decent wage at the prices we have in Romania should be around 500 euros but let's say that with 400 euros one can make it through the month...
