Renault invests €100 million in Dacia’s Romanian plant to increase output to 350,000 vehicles On December 18, 2006 Dacia will start work at its Pitesti plant to boost output from 235,000 vehicles a year at end-2006 to 350,000 in 2008. Plant output will be adapted temporarily owing to the work, with an eight-day pause in Logan Sedan production at the end-of-the-year period. Renault investeste 100 milioane de euro la Pitesti

Renault va investi in fabrica de la Pitesti aproximativ 100 de milioane de euro. Investitia are ca scop marirea capacitatii de productie si pregatirea pentru inlocuitorul "Papucului".



Pe 18 decembrie la fabrica Dacia din Pitesti vor incepe lucrarile de extindere, destinate maririi capacitatii de productie de la 235.000 de masini pe an, la 350.000 de masini pe an. In aceasta extindere Renault va investi aproximativ 100 de milioane de euro. La Pitesti sunt construite momentan modelele Logan Sedan si Logan MCV.
Investitia mai are ca scop pregatirea pentru producerea celui de-al treilea model din programul Logan, un vehicul comercial care sa inlocuiasca "Papucul" bazat pe Renault 12, care a si iesit vinerea trecuta din fabricatie.
Multumita acestei investitii, incepand cu luna februarie 2007, numarul de Logan-uri MCV care vor iesi pe usa fabricii va fi crescut de la 250 la 300, pentru a scurta timpul de asteptare pentru un astfel de model, care momentan este de vreo doua luni.

Hmmm, îmi amintesc că acu' un an şi ceva, erau pe aici voci care afirmau că Renault nu o să ţină prea mult fabrica asta de la Piteşti, că mai mult de 3-4 ani nu o să ţină minunea...
Se pare că totuşi Renault a venit în România să stea, nu doar să aibă de unde pleca...
