Hi everyone..! Short introduction: I'm Ger and living in The Netherlands. In december 2006 I got interested in the Logan MCV which was finally introduced on the Dutch market last February. In mean time I gathered all kinds of information for personal use but in the end I realized this could be helpfull for more Dutch MCV buyers so I published it on a site. This became the most popular Dutch Dacia Logan MCV site in The Nederlands, probably also because the language used is Dutch and generally people like reading their own language most. It is updated almost every day with news, links, photos etc. The Dacia Logan MCV is a hit in The Netherlands. All 1500 reserved Romenian production spaces for the Dutch market in 2007 are already sold. The estimate was these 1500 would be enough for the full year... Anyway, you also can check out the site. For instance, it also contains pics of one of the first Logan MCVs delivered to a costumer in The Netherlands. nice website. it could be nicer if you had an english version though.

I considered an English version but I had two major reasons not to do so. First, people read much more easily in their own language. There are several good internetsites about the Logan MCV in English but there was none in Dutch. Moreover, I could have created two versions but that would be much work to maintain. After all, it's only a hobby...

What's always a possibility is to use Babelfish online translation. Not quite perfect English but it works. I also use this reading French fora.

I also try to gather as much information as I can get and the site is mostly
in English. (there will be PDF-files in German, English and Dutch).

There are already lots of pictures online, but I'm restyling the picture-pages
and I think by the end of the week I wil put them online so you can browse trough hundreds of pictures about the MCV, sedan, VAN, Hatchback, concepts, testdrives, tuning and more. The site is updated almost daily and contains also links to several PDF-files with information and to a lot of video's about Dacia.

I wish Ger a lot of success with his site; I know a lot of dutch people visit his site and for them there is a lot of info to find.

Okay, here I am again... Guess what..? Since its start a few moths ago the site I originally mentioned here was visited by more than 35.000 unique visitors generating about 100.000 pageviews. On the busiest day it received requests of 7500 visitors, mostly because the most popular (and discussed) weblogs of The Netherlands GeenStijl.nl published a link in one of their articles...

Anyway, after less than two months it was time to reconstruct the site. It started off as a single page with some photo's and links and it needed a technical update somehow. So I rebuild the site completely, created a new design an tranferred all excisting content. It now also has got a much nicer URL:

Although it's in Dutch it might be interesting for foreigners as well. And as mentioned before, it can be live translated to English by clicking here.
