I am very interesting to by this model,for my family,but I am afraid to mistake.

Pro and contra!

Before the focus, I had a megane1 1.6 16v, also I have a friend with a logan ph1 1.6 16v. Also I've driven 1.5dci 70cp on a renault symbol/thalia. From my point of view the only engines that I would buy a logan (either sedan or mcv) with, are 1.6 16v and 1.5dci 85cp.
Probably on logan sedan even 1.5dci 70cp and 1.6 8v are ok, but especially on mcv (this model is heavier than the sedan version, it has about 300kg of extra weight), the best choice is between 1.6 16v and 1.5dci 85cp. Now you have to choose diesel or petrol...

I was reading your posts about 1,6 16v and dci.Even,I am trying to translate your
posting about MCV 1,6mpi.
I am interesting for MCV black line,becouse it on extra sale.There are only 3 engines in BL,1,6mpi,dci70 and dci85.I know a lot about engines,but I am only
interesting how they working in MCV.1,6mpi came whith two kinds of gear-box,and
it is a two models,practicly!
MCV is not 300kg haevyer then sedan.DCI85with 7s is almost1250kg.
1,6 is cheaper,about2000e.With TNG it will be a 1000e.I know allmost everything about servises and coasts.
1,6 16 laur.coast like dci85BL whith same equpment,but laur. have not same music
and enterier.
Does it 1,6 strong enought,that is the question?Or...I have to by 16v,becouse I amafraid of dieesel,bad fuel,coasting.

I don't value so much the music equipment at a logan. The car doesn't have a good soundproofing and also the mp3player and speakers you get aren't so good in sound quality. Also the interior trim is just for aestetics, but it has the same quality as the others.
About the weight of the car a logan mcv ph2 with 7 seats has 1300kg with the 1.6 8v engine, 1330kg with 1.6 16v, 1350 with 1.5dci 70cp and 1360 with 1.5dci 85cp.
The 1.6 8v has 87bhp (not 90 like the producer says) and 128nm, it will do with the weight of the mcv, but you have two options: you either rev the nuts out of it in order to gain some speed, and the fuel comsuption will increase; or you drive kind of like an "old man", slowly, relaxed...
I would buy the 1.6 16v laureate version and I would buy a better mp3player and speakers, and also I could fit the audio comands after-market...
Also if you drive a lot, meaning that you go past 20.000km/year (12500miles/year) you could take into consideration the diesel version... If you drive it properly and take good care of the motor, it is very unlikely to have problems with it.

My MCV is arrived.It is dci85,BL.I am didn^t have a mistake,for sure.
