For some reason when i start my car's air conditioner on a hot sunny day (usual weather in ecuador) the initial air that comes out it smell really bad after a few seconds comes cold and the smell goes off.

I do not know why this happens, on a cold weather or at night that smell does not comes out only on hot and sunny weather.

Does anybody knows why is this ?

Thanks

How old is your car ??.You need to have the Airconditioner serviced as it can harvest all sorts of nasty bugs and this could be what is smelling

There is a bactericide foam which solves this problem. This foam is injected from underneath the car, through the condensate drainage hole.

It doesn't really matter how old is the car if the A/C smells bad it means that it has acummulated some bacterias and this is why it smells bad. You cand buy a spray for cleaning the A/C and clean the evaporator by inserting the dispenser of the spray in a hole underneath the car.
