Hi to all !
Here is a new member from Germany.
My name is in real life is Tommy, and I am a Logan owner since december 2006.
I will reach 3000 km soon and I am only happy with this car.
Does anbody in Romania know, if there is a kind of tecnical reference or repairing book out there in Romania ? Something with pictures for maintaining the car and for small repairing... (of corse only legal books) ;-)
Thanks for help

Hi Paykan
I also live in Germany I live in the near from Karlsruhe
Hey with your 3 year garantee you wont need to fix anything
I also have the 14mpi Lauriette without Ac but with everything else
This small engine is just right for my needs and i have driven 2 times back to England.with no problems at all and I do not find it under powered
You picked a good car and the Dacia is now selling in Germany like crazy
despite attempts from the ADAC to give it a bad name
If I find any workshop manuals I will let you know
Regards

18, you can go to the exames (I don't know how to call it) after you are 17, but you only get a licence after you are 18...
Stu and paykan, how good is the sales of Logan in Germany?

Because you can get a 4 Years old Golf Kombi for the Price of a new Dacia Logan MCV.
BTW. Hy to all. I´m the new one. I get my D.L.MCV 1,4 next week
Ein Golf Wagen ist ein Golf, immer!
Ein(e) Dacia Logan ist
Ein Golf V ist ein overpriced, uncomfortable and noisy car. And expensive too.
A logan is fair-priced, comfortable at least as the golf, and silent. And relativly cheap.
I am talking about versions with 1,4l motor.
And that's not all, for the price of golf V you can buy even Ford Mondeo on action, not to mention excellent Korean cars.
PS. This is forum on english, so be kind and write your posts on this language.
My english it's a bitt rusty, but i'll try...
why german people (or not?) speak english insted of german, is this topic (post) not for german people?
Tell me,...am I wrong?
By the way, the 1.4l motor from logan it's not so silent as you think!
I have no problem reading posts writen in german, but other members may have.
Even rusty english is ok because most of peple will understand it.
Hey, we are not English, only one is
I guess this topic is for us all, from Germany or not. Or maybe I am wrong?
Regarding noise: My parents have Logan 1.4 and our company has different versions of Golf V, i 've droven mostly with 1.4 engine.
Noise in Golf is unacceptably high. In Logan is not.
I have just read again 1st post, this topic is for Romanian people
I am from romania, bukarest and I speak 3 languages: english, german and franch...romanian language dosen't count.
i also have a 1.4l logan engine and it's very slow!
Ein golf V kann viel schneller fahren, darum auch der lehrm is groSer!
Das ist meine meinung, naturlich! Venn ich uber deutsche autos spreche, da kann ich nur deutsch denken und schreiben
Vie alt bist du?
It's me again.
Golf V 1,4 can not go significally faster. And it's a shitty car

For Kojak:
Vie alt bist du? = Wie alt bist du?
Varum kauft ihr rumanische ? = Warum ...
Da kann ich euch nicht verstechen? =...verstehen.
Venn ich uber... = Wenn ich...
Your German seems rusty, too...Let's speak english here, rusty or not.
o.k., i guess your a logan fan, i am speachless, dacia need people like u

You have to pay more then the double for a Golf with a Fuel consumption of about 9 Liters/100 km. With a Gearbox that remembers me at a Pott of Soop and a space offer of about the half of the Logan MCV. So whats up.

I dont know if this is addressed to me, but i suppose it is.
I don't like Logan, but it is a reliable car and my parents are satisfied with one.
I don't like vw cars too, because they are way to expensive for that what they have to offer.
I think I have become real stupid...aren't we in the English corner ?? Actually in the Logan English corner ?? Then how come people start posting in something similar to German ?? Need to show off or what ? I'm a relatively newcomer but I have to say I've been welcome here and so is every new member as far as I've seen, no matter how good or bad his English be. The important thing is to share experiences together and have a good time in the Forum.
Für Kojak: Ich kann auch Deutsch aber ich halte mich an Englisch...und wenn ich die Chance hätte, Rumänisch zu lernen, würde ich es auch tun. Warum schreibst Du, es sei "keine Sprache " ??
All the best to everybody and let's keep the good vibrations here !
