The Tata Nano has been unveiled in India, and it's being billed as the world's cheapest new car - priced at R100,000, the equivelant of €1700 or GBP1250.
At the moment, there are no plans to export it to Europe.

Must say it looks very nice for that price, a nice little town car. We don't know anything about the quality and the safety, that remains to be seen.

There is now talk of bringing this car to Europe, at a cost of €3000.

It's pretty cheap, decent looking, i think for a crowded city it would be ideal.

No chance to sell this car in Europe...it has no airbags and ABS. Tata said that these equipment have been intentionally omitted, otherwise the price would be 4000$
It's a shame to own a car like that in Europe

And the world's worst car in my opinion!
Well, if with ABS and airbags would cost 4000$ or even 4000eur, should still be the cheapest car in the world. And with that safety measures and the look, wich is cute, should be apealing for a woman living and driving ONLY in a congested city.
The indian SMART.

Its an ok car, but with or without airbags, it doesnt look very safe. However at that price its the best you can get from a new car.
