Configuratia este urmatoarea:
Laptop Dell Precision M65
Intel Core Duo T7200 2.0 Ghz
2 Gb RAM
Nvidia Quadro 350 M 256+256 Mb

restul nu mai conteaza

Jocurile gen Crysis (mersi Claus pt pont), NFS Carbon, etc etc merg foarte foarte greu.. 4-5 fps... Configuratia sistemului nu e chiar slaba.. Ce sa-i fac?

vezi ce procese iti ruleaza in spate si mai killereste din ele...NU se poate la configuratia aia sa se miste asa de rau... Eventual incearca sa schimbi rezolutia undeva pe la 1024 x 768

xp-ul l-am reinstalat acum 1 zi, driverele placii sunt noi, nu am procese suspecte.. ce sa mai zic, totul e ok biggrin.gif rezolutia am avut-o si la 800x600 si tot prost merge. Suspectez o problema de drivere, dar nu vad unde e problema, directx 9 e instalat, placa grafica are toate driverele.. ce sa mai fie?????

Poate acolo e problema, la shared-ul ala... Am jucat NFS Carbon pe o configuratie similara - e drept, desktop, nu laptop, si cu o placa de 512 MB - si n-a agatat deloc...

Vezi pe acolo la alea cu Video shadow sau asa ceva... din cate inteleg eu, memoria shared e "up to 256 MB", ceea ce inseamna alocare dinamica, si nu stiu daca jocurile se impaca cu asta...

Schimba-l cu un Sony sau HP aceeasi configuratie. Argumente sunt pro si contra, insa diferentele sunt vizibile in anumite aplicatii precum jocurile.
Oricm, nu-s proiectate pt joace. De-aici putem genera o polemica pe tema Desk vs Laptop.

mai am un hp mobile workstation nx9440 parca (m-am uitat sa vad ce scrie pe el si nu apare nimic) si e mult superior dell-ului, atat ca finisaje, cat si ca performante. E prima oara cand imi instalez un joc in 10 ani (ma rog.. nu 10 ani, mint, da` de vreo 4-5 ani sa tot fie) si ma asteptam sa mearga bine pe configuratia asta, nu vreau sa instalez pe hp pentru ca ala il folosesc pentru lucrarile mele si nici nu am spatiu sa intalez jocuri pe el... m-am uitat in bios, nimic nou. Acolo apare ca nu are decat 256 mb placa video.. Ciudat.. credeam ca e shared.. In fine, alte idei?

m-am uitat acu in dxdiag si zice ca are aprox 512 mb placa video... deci e shared pana la urma.. Of... Claus e de vina... el mi-a laudat joacele astea si am vrut sa vad si eu ce-i de capul lor.. this sucks..

daca stau sa ma gandesc mai bine.. mi-ar prinde bine niste bascheti.. ca astia actuali isi cam arata varsta... blush.gif

Nu conteaza (sa fie pe DX 9 nu cele vechi) . Vezi daca scoate mai multe fps decat jocul.

Da. Si pe vremea cand exista Geforce4 Mx, bla, bla, le dadeam clasa cu Geforce 2 Gti. Avea putere de calcul mult superioara. Treaba e ca procesoarele astea mai noi au functii mai noi, mama lor. Dar la capitolul procesare, pentru jocurile noi care necesita resurse de calcul importante, placile video slabe nu fac 2 lei ca se cheama quadro, triplo, milo.
Solutie constructiva: vinde-l si ia altul , cu placa video cu memorie dedicata.

nu e o solutie constructiva, nu am de gand sa pierd cateva sute de eur devalorizare doar pentru ca nu imi merg jocurile pe el biggrin.gif. Credeam ca poate e o problema de software. In cerintele de sistem din jocuri sunt sisteme mult mai slabe decat ce am eu.

plus ca .. scorul tau din 3dmark e extrem de mic.. eu,de exemplu, in 3dmark 2006, am 10000 de puncte.. si crysis merge in 1280 .. cu very high..
incearca Call of duty 4 .. e mai putin pretentios si are si grafica misto.. si "poveste" buna biggrin.gif

Ok, Crysis nu are optiune de very high pentru ca nu s-a inventat inca Direct X10.1.Sa zicem ca merge in High desi acolo e nevoie de un 8800GTX eventaul in SLI.
Call of Duty 4 pentru a oferii o senzatie grafica buna are nevoie de un sistem cel putin la fel de puternic ca si Crysis.

Laptopul respectiv are o configuratie foarte slaba pentru jocuri , daca ti neaparat iti recomand jocuri mai vechi pe el.

PS: nu , nu am luat- razna , sunt un mare fac al jocurilor video.
PSS: PS3 senzatie maxima , X360 raport pret/calitate perfect.
