So, dear Logan owners. I am expecting to be called in next few days, to the car shop to pick up my new car > LOGAN 1.4 MPI.

I just wanted to greet you from Vojvodina / Serbia. As, I can see there are after Romanian mostly Logan drivers from Serbia. Why is that? I wonder biggrin.gif

For the start, one question: what is the size of speakers that are supposed to fit in the Logan doors? 17cm?

Logan 1.4 Ambience (unleaded fuel).
7.200€, payed for it on Dacia "Happy Day" with 200€ price cut, so I could choose metalic color with only 40€ to be added on the price.

Well the car is in the auto shop and I am waiting for the bank to finish the papers. I think I will be driving it until the end of the week. Hope so.

UH! Still nothing!!! Imagine the Express percel company that was supposed to deliver papers for my payment from Novi Sad to Belgrade in 5 hours, was delivering it for 7 days!!???
That what the bank told me so I have to wait few more days. I am very angry!!

Slightly off topic:

What Express parcel (courier) company was that? smile.gif )
(to avoid it in future smile.gif )

Usually it takes max 5-6 hours for such parcels to be delivered between
Belgrade and Novi Sad, in worst case scenario next business day (with
Post Express, being the cheapest and, of course, the slowest smile.gif

Rule nr. 1 - never trust what the bank clerk is telling you. According to them it is always somebody's else mistake wink.gif
Probably papers were on somebody's table for few days... just collecting dust... until you complained and someone had to search for them.

They are more efficient if you owe them money wink.gif

And this is, like Murphy law, valid all over the world!

Why cant the bank fax your information on to the dealer ?. and do you not have a Renault bank where you are?? http://www.renault.de/RenaultSITe/finance/fs_diac.jsp
They sorted me out within 1hour in the Dacia dealers showroom

No. It works different here.
1. I go to the car dealer, choose the car.
2. The dealer makes an pro forma invoice and contact the bank.
3. The bank checks am I credit solvent, and informs me.
4. If I am, they call me to the bank to sign the papers.
5. When I sign the agreement, the bank pays tho whole amount for the car to dealer and I pick up the car.

So, I am stuck in point No. 4. sad.gif

I consider such bank's behavior as disrespect to you.
You should make several phone calls on monday, with someone who is little bit highly ranked in this bank.

btw, which bank is involved?

All I can say it is a wonderful feeling to sit in a new car, especially for me, after driving almost 20 years old Yugo. WOW!

I am very busy these days but I hope I will make a nice photo during the weekend.

PS: I remember I read a topic about the door problem, but can't find it now. Can someone put a link?

PS2: Is there a speed limit or rpm limits in the first period of driving a new Logan? Should I be careful about it, or the engine is ready for usual driving.
