The Golf VI will have three and five door versions, a rumoured cabriolet and of course the GTI which may get a glass roof. A new 1.6-liter TFSI engine is also said to be on the plans generating about 200 bhp, however, the Golf VI is set to get a new entry level engine below the 1.4-liter TSI found in the current generation. According to Wolfgang Steiger, VW's manager for powertrain research, tells the new generation Golf will offer either a 1.0-liter or 1.2-liter engine producing 75 horsepower. A final decision on which displacement will be used is yet to be finalised. It will depend on whether VW management decides on three or four cylinders.

Diesel engines are also expected to equip the hatchback, both in BlueMotion and twin-drive plug-in hybrid versions which are scheduled for release from 2010. The GTI will get even more power than the current model with an engine delivering 230 hp, and an even hotter 4Motion performance edition along the lines of the current R32 producing 265 hp following later.

Ma rog, mai era si continuarea - always change a losing one - la care Renault se pricepe de minune (vezi - Avantime, VelSatis - masini geniale de altfel... dpdv al designului).

Se stie ca noul Golf 6 e doar un facelift dar;

1. Nu imi place
2. Nu degeaba e o referinta mondiala Golf-ul. Sunt sigur ca nu o sa o dea in bara cu a 6-a generatie.

Eu unul ma obisnuiesc cu el si sunt sigur ca o sa fie un succes.

tot interioru difera, exterioru aproape tot...fetele de usi nu sunt la fel, barile fatza/spate difera...haionu, capota difera...nu cred ca asta e facelift...oricum modelele golf n-au prea avut facelifturi din cate stiu eu...

PS - modelu mi se pare reusit, si sunt de acord ca golfu e standardu' in segmentul respectiv

Nu este, dar ei mizeaza pe aceeasi carte, cea a designului clasic, "cuminte". Ramane de vazut cat succes o sa aiba, mai ales in perioada asta in care vanzarile scad.

Nu cred ca e asta.De mult timp se stia ca va fi un golf 5 1.2.SI asta pentru a reduce costurile.

E de fapt un GOLF made by Ghosn.Carlos Ghosn.

Winning game-ul nu e generatia a 5-a, dupa parerea mea, ci intreaga "filosofie" (mda, e mult spus) pe care se bazeaza modelele compacte VW de la golf 1 incoace: conservatorism, simplitate (spre banalitate) si robustete.

Eu nu pot intelege ce puteti parlamenta pe pagini intregi daca e face-lift sau nu, daca seamana cu Loganul sau cu Meganul... (astea-s chestii de gust si nu se poate ajunge la o concluzie!), dar nimeni nu vorbeste de tehnica!

Nu a observat nimeni ca au disparut complet din lista motoarele aspirate?

Golf 5 e o masina buna dar cam scumpa de produs.
G6 va rezolva problema asta. Va aduce motoare pe benzina cu performante bune, dieselurile sunt oricum bune.


OT: Homosexualii chiar au gusturi bune la masini
