Bagi stickul pe care l-ai formatat in windows explorer cu click dreapta /format/fat32/debifezi quick format si pe care copiezi update-ul ala,dai restart apezi tasta albastra ,,Acces IBM" la bootare si intra in bios ,apesi F1 si enter pe update ,selectezi stick-ul si enter. Dupa ce este gata F10/save&exit.

Cauti pe site-ul IBM cum se face pentru modelul tau update. Posibil sa fie chiar soft ce ruleaza in Windows, posibil sa te puna sa faci un stick boot-abil.

Cert este ca nu exista o solutie universala, si fiecare producator mai schimba cate ceva. Mai ales ca e un laptop vechi.

Daca esti sigur ca atat aplicatia de update, cat si fisierul ce contine noua versiune de bios le-ai ales pentru modelul tau, poti face asta. Sunt multe modele care accepta BIOS UPDATE din Windows.
