PDA inseamna Portable Digital Assistant si este un termen general utilizat pentru a descrie o gama larga de produse electronice portabile care indeplinesc functii de genul: carte de adrese si telefoane, lista de task-uri, caiet de notite s.a.m.d.

In momentul de fata sunt doua mari categorii de PDA-uri intre care se poate alege:
- Palm
- Pocket PC

*) exista si altele dar acestea doua sunt cele mai des intalnite si au cei mai multi reprezentanti.

Diferenta sta in principal in sistemul de operare pe care il foloseste fiecare categorie. Pocket PC sunt denumite in general PDA-urile care folosesc Windows (Mobile, CE, XP for PocketPC s.a.m.d.).

Evident ca sunt diferente si la nivel de hardware, pentru ca de obicei terminalele mobile au partea de hardware si cea de software foarte strans cuplata (pentru a contrabalansa resursele mai scazute fata de un PC clasic) si ca atare sistemul de operare nu este interschimbabil.

Diferente mai apar si la nivel de aplicatii... desi gama este cam aceeasi.

Vreau Pda. Am folosit unul in Germania si mi-a placut tare mult. Ajutati-ma deci sa gasesc ceva bun aici la noi. Si daca tot gasesc sa-mi spuneti apoi de unde descarc si harti.

Incearca un hard reset. Verifica in cartea PDA-ului sau pe net cum se face acest reset. Nu cred ca ai sters sistemul de operare...Sistemul se sterge doar incercand o rescriere a ROM-ului....

pai, in primul rand.. trebuie sa iti cumperi un receptor GPS, care poate fi conectat prin bluetooth cu telefonul.. dupa care, cumperi soft pt symbian..
si, cam atat biggrin.gif

De unde cumpar receptorul ? Unde gasesc softul ? Vreau o adresa de mail, preturi ... Asa cum spuneam mai devreme sunt interesat sa aflu daca cineva foloseste un astfel de sistem si daca este multumit de combinatie.

Cine e dispus sa ma ajute si pe mine cu instalarea softului de IGO sau TomTom pentru A632.
PS: nu reusesc sa o fac de unul singur.
PM pentru ajutor, ca deja a inceput sa se puna praful pe el...si tareee suparat sunt ca am dat si o caruta de bani pe el.

mi-am instalat si eu iGO 2006, momentan doar cu harta Romaniei pt ca toate hartile ar avea cam 1 GB. foarte multe nu s-au schimbat la el, harta e foarte putin modificata, are cateva bug-uri, unele care ma deranjeaza foarte tare (langa strada mea e o strada care pe harta apare infundata). cea ce imi place e ca a aparut un meniu nou "Setari avansate" unde poti sa schimbi setarile legate de display. Tarile incluse in varianta full sunt : Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia (only major roads), Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, and United Kingdom
Interesant e ca Bulgaria nu apare pe harta. si nici Grecia sau Iugoslavia.
Ahhh, si am uitat sa zic ca au schimbat si splash-screenul ala enervant. acum e o harta a europei.
in general nu sunt foarte multe schimbate la el.
dar trebuie sa fim multumiti de faptul ca putem sa calatorim in toata europa cu ajutorul unui singur soft.

L-am instalat si eu cu toate hartile (veriunea europeana). Este clar un pas inainte fata de v. 2005. In sfarsit acum iti ramane traseul salvat daca iesi din aplicatie sau aceatsa se blocheaza subit. De asemnea, sunt incluse si locatiilor radarelor de pe DN 1.
Un alt plus il reprezinta posibilitatea adaugarii POI-urilor prin coordonate geografice
Ca fapt divers, cati MB are harta Romaniei in versiunea ta?

bine ca mi-ai zis ca eu nu le gaseam in veci (sunt la PDI-Transporturi-General pt cine nu le-a gasit). pacat ca iGO nu are nici o optiune cum e la TomTom "warn when near PDI". la iGO s-ar putea sa vezi PDIul pe ecran mai tarziu decat vezi camera pe drum blink.gif . biggrin.gif

Mersi. Intrebam deoarece am observat ca in v. 2006 harta ocupa de 4 ori mai putin spatiu in timp ce detaliile hartii au crescut. Se pare ca noile harti sunt comprimate...

Intr-adevar, tom-tom are inca multe avantaje fata de iGo.. dar merge si acesta. Oricum, 2006 este o surpriza placuta

P.S. Radarele le-am gasit foarte simplu: am incercat sa le introduc manual prin coordonatele luate de pe net si atunci le-am vazut si eu pe cele inregistrate de ei

Matei si eu mi-am pus iGO 2006 si sunt multumit caci 2005-ul se misca mult mai greu si fragmentat si ca are mult mai multe optiuni. . . .

pai eu ziceam ca gasesti la mine, dar momentan nu mai am. aveam unele super bune la 4 mil. cand mai am iti dau PM.
legat de iGO pot sa spun ca harta e foarte detaliata, mult mai buna decat toate hartile de pana acum (si ma refer aici si la TomTom, Route66).
ma deranjeaza foarte tare ca nu are POI Warner. am citit pe unele situri ca se poate "atasa" dar nu sub forma de plug-in ci ca un program care ruleaza in background. astept totusi poate lanseaza iGO un update legat de asta

Cauta pe emag si o sa gasesti un PDA Futjitsu-Simens Nox... la aprox. 12 mil. cu receptor de gps. Este compatibil cu soft-ul igo.
