Am pe placa de baza 4 sloturi de ddr2, a1, b1, a2, b2, in ordinea asta, primele doua sunt galbele, ultimele doua negre.

Mai am 2 module de cate un giga, cum le asez in sloturi? ma refer la ordine, ma gandeam in primul si al treilea...nu?

Ulead video studio. Program destul de puternic pentru amatori, face treaba buna, dar si asta e scump.

inca o intrebare...acum ca am dublat memoria ram, nu trebuie sa umblu si la virtual memory? Am xp Black edition, nu e pe auto, e pe manual, parca minimul trebuia sa fie 1,5 x ram si maximul 3 x ram, deci ii bag 3072 cu 6144, imi aduc aminte bine?

Da' cu ce te incurca pagefile-ul? Eu il tin pe manual, maxim 4xRAM (adica 4GB). E bine sa fie cat mai mare, ca sa nu se fragmenteze (la nevoie Win isi ia cat are nevoie indiferent ce valori setezi tu).
Aaa... si am SO pe un HDD si pagefile pe alt HDD, pe o patritie goala.

Nu ma incurca cu nimic, dar dupa ce ca face swap si daca-i "interzici", desi mai are 2 giga de RAM in care ar putea sa bage ce vrea el, prefer sa nu-l "incurajez" sa o faca si mai des.

Windows-ul ar folosi doar memoria RAM, care este mult mai rapida decat pagefile-ul ( HDD ).

pai nu asa e gandit el, sa foloseasca pagefile-ul doar cand nu-i mai ajunge ram-ul? in mod normal, la 2 gb de ram la o exploatare normala windows-ul nu s-ar atinge de memoria vituala, care oricum ocupa locul pe hard(initial size-ul ala). Ma insel?
